I wouldn't call any defense that has given up a ton of points to Baltimore, KC, Houston, and Miami an elite defense. They are what they are - a good defense that plays great against average offenses. An elite defense would NOT have allowed Miami to march down the field in the 4th quarter when a bye was on the line.

I thought bill had a bad game defensively. He made no adjustments to what the dolphins were doing. They got killed on the slant.

The Pats were pretty much destined for a clash with KC in the Divisional round regardless of the outcome of today's games.

They haven't been as invincible at home this year, so maybe a road game where they can get all distractions out of the way is what the doctor ordered...

Would have been a lot less without pick sixes, consistent turnovers in your own territory and continuous quick 3 & outs.

What I see is that this season showed how the team can be competitive without a GOAT level QB. And thats a positive.
