Not trying to predict the end of the world but maybe the methods of the past are not going to work the same. I think BB/JM/TB are second to none as history only shows , change is going to happen and it maybe painful but maybe we have just lucked out this year and it will be a tough one........yeah we are 9 and 1 and will progress it's just an ugly year......It is a cliche but I hope there is a better long term plan
That's why you release him at the end of the year...we needed him for depth
idk Sanu moving decently for someone with what was called a "high ankle sprain"
There are only 53 roster slots available. You can't have infinite depth.
They decided to give the snaps to younger players that will still be around in the next 2-3 years instead. It is not like Gordon was setting the world on fire and the delta between him and Meyers and Henry will be smaller every week.
But I guess this needs to be said every week.

I know people probably don't mean it this way, but I love the idea that "Man, Brady must be SO FRUSTRATED by the weapons around him!" As though everyone else in the organization is perfectly fine with it. Like Belichick wanted Brown to go full bonehead, or drafted Harry knowing he'd be hurt for the first 9 weeks and didn't care, or played Newhouse because he loves the guy and not because they had multiple veteran backups retire in training camp. Maybe Josh McDaniels intentionally called the trick play against the Eagles so that Dorsett would get concussed? Or perhaps they shipped Gordon out for no reason other than to make Brady sweat?
Seriously, I have no doubt Brady is frustrated by what's happened, but the connotation there is that he has some beef with management for putting him in this position. A management that built a top defense in the league, traded for a starting WR at the deadline, and has drafted offense with their last three first rounders. We've been snake bitten on offense. There's only so much more we can throw on the fire before we're burning pieces of our house.
Who to believe?
I just checked out NFL Redzone and saw a current headline that claims Sanu will miss multiple games according to Tom Curran.
WEEI has him at practice although limited.
IMO Curran has replaced Felger as the local media leader in finding negative stories to promote every week.
Sanu didn’t participate in the few drills we were permitted to watch. Dorsett did, but he’s not wearing a shell under his jersey, which suggests no competitive drills for him. pic.twitter.com/s9Vs7sGmtp
#Patriots had 100 percent attendance at practice. Mohamed Sanu (14) was an observer during positional drills during the portion of practice open to the media. pic.twitter.com/j7UXy7U1BU
While Phillip Dorsett missed practice yesterday due to a concussion, there's midweek optimism he could be cleared in time for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, per source. Of course, with concussions, there's no straight line to recovery, but the optimism is a good sign.
Is is amazing how I have soured on him in a short time. He was alright too. In fact since Mayo left to coach, he has been trending downwards and has not yet reached rock bottom.Who to believe?
