Vikings vs. Jets Thread

Favre should have stayed retired. This game is moving way to fast for the grandpa.

Third straight blown blitz block. This time it's on Peterson. The Vikes did not do their homework on how to block the Jets blitzing.

Woody Johnson ... the owner when Brett Favre takes pics of his johnson, his wood.

that is messed up.

Brett went there because of the owners name?

From what I heard it was more of a splinter than a block of wood

You trade for a WR who commands double coverage deep.

But your team doesn't give the QB time to throw deep.

seems like the team should have traded for a slot receiver ... no :confused2:

brett, listen to peterson....

let him run

Man, the Vikings offense ******* sucks tonight. This is pathetic. Hope Moss enjoys being on a team with a losing record this year, that's where he belongs.

Little **** Favre tossing it up to alligator arms Moss all season.

Reminds me of the OL we had when Plunkett was our QB. :bricks:

Favre and Peterson were talking, where the hell was Moss?

Come on guys, please do us a solid and beat the Jets.

look who their coach is on the sideline...

Jets blitzes+slants=big plays
why in the world do I see farve holding onto the football for an eternity as 6-7 Jets are coming at him?

Smart move. Stare down Moss.

The addition of Moss was the worst thing that the Vikes could do. I'm not talking about what Moss brings to the table. I am talking about Favre's inability to use Moss judiciously. All but one throw has been designed to throw to another receiver other than Moss thus far. Having Chilly calling plays doesn't help.

Everyone should take note of this game and stop complaining about Bill O'Brien.

Seeing the Jets having success is making me all kinds of loopy with rage!!

Hopefully the Vikings offense will get on track soon.

Unfortunately, I think the Jets are going to be hard for anyone to beat as long as Tomlinson and Sanchez are playing well. With their defense, the Jets are hard enough to beat without those guys playing well. As much as I hate to give the Jets any credit, they made some good pickups in the offseason.

In other news Rex is all giddy as he opens up his defensive playbook as he knows the country in watching MNF. Belichick smiling from ear to ear as he watches the game in the bowels of the Razor.

It's Favre. He's gonna do it to us again. The last time I asked the gods for this punk to do me a favor he was in a Jet uniform. NEVER AGAIN.

the vikings vaunted run D is pathetic

vikings are not a prime time team this year ... their shot at fame was 09'.

I disagree. That's the 2nd holding on the Jets- a sign they're having a hard time blocking the Vikes DL.

Shiancoe can't block...do the Vikings have a blocker of a TE?

I bet they miss Chester Taylor, their version of Kevin faulk

Sanchez has been very lucky this year. Another pick not made.
