Update - NFL Network to drop bankrupt Sapp

I'm smelling B.S. Here

Sapp Probably has an offshore bank account with several million in his Swiss account so that when Shockey and his lawyers come calling to sue,he won't get wiped out.

I would bet more than just a few pro athletes are hiding serious cash outside the US borders and away from Uncle Sam's outstretched arms.

It's hard to imagine for those of us earning a regular wage, but there's little doubt in my mind it is true.

People who go from poverty/middle class income to sudden riches have a shockingly high rate of bankruptcy. It's something all of us could fall prey to no matter how hard it is to imagine.

Funny to look at perhaps or maybe funny in an unintentional way. I always thought he was a bit extreme. One thing that has bugged me about Sapp is his tendency to equate football with "manhood" and "going to war" and "being a man," etc., etc. Just goes to show how some of these guys who've never lived in the real world believe that playing a game is the biggest measure of a person.

Extreme? but I thought everyone was buying endangered leopard baby bootie outfits that year? And the Rolex is at least 7 months old, can't believe he had the balls to wear it. He must be pretty thrifty.

Much like michael irvin, who is a model of the community. I am constantly laughing at his character antics , and witty charm. A true joy to watch on the NFL channel, and quite a linguistics genius. Takes a better picture to.

Pretty much, and the numbers bear it out. Budgeting and responsibly managing your money is a learned skill, and for people who have never had money to manage, they don't learn it. In an ideal world, they'd be able to rely on advisers who had their best interests at heart, but for every one of those, there are others who know that professional athletes by and large are about the dumbest money you'll ever find, and therefore the easiest targets.

Makes me wonder if Bob Kraft, for example, knows this and has his people vet his players' financial advisers, or even hooks them up with advisers that he's worked with.

Some would say paying your bills and supporting your family is a big part of 'manhood'.

I'm sure I am misunderstanding the 'fall prey to' part, but I don't know how this could be something to feel sympathy for.
Sapp has one skill in the world, and made millions because of it. I feel no sympathy for him blowing it.

Wouldn't this require some level of foresight and intelligence? Two things I think Mr. Sapp does not have an abundance of......

Now I know why the U has those same color jerseys--if any of their players are, uh, "indisposed" on picture day, they can use their mugshots and no one will be the wiser.

He named the wrong "snitch". Turns out, it was a former quality control defensive coach who told the NFL about the Bounties.

Bet Sapp is feeling like a moron right about now.

Sapp is too stupid to realize he's a moron. That's the problem.

That channel will be a little less annoying now.

Most likely simply because do not require improperly outed a man like a snitch about the NFL's personal system.
