Unpolished WRs don't grow with unsteady QB play. Some players just don't mesh, but if our QBs need better receivers then you'd be ignorant to think our receivers are getting adequate QB play. Whoever started the thread questioning our WR assessments is right on.

It's a Very Strong 2024 WR Class especially from the Top we can get our Deebo and A.J. Brown this time around as you know who won't be here. Good fortunes at WR will be here again BB is a WR jinx.
You're right. Do u want BB picking the WR?

When half the board posters here have better wide receiver mock draft results over patriots , there is something fundamentally wrong with our evaluations.

We are playing wrong cards all time when it comes to wide receivers and going against the grain .

BBs defensive players are seldom placed in a position where their deficiencies can be exploited. I'm not sure he has the same flexibility with WRs. Seems he tries to jam them into roles not suited to their strengths...even with highly productive veteran FAs.

Watching Juju and Parker and say God help us.
Once Bill leaves ,Troy will likely as well.

As it's said.. winning cures, loosing unmask things. He's been doing this his entire patriots tenure. Here's a coach that had Troy brown playing DB, Seymour playing fullback, Vrabel playing TE. He even on hail mary had Moss and gronk playing FS. It just goes back to how he views offensive football.

I hope we plan on eating the dead money for both Parker and especially Juju in 24 let's move on please there is nothing to see here.
I'm thinking a healthy JUJU with a competent QB is a keeper. Been disappointed in Parker, would be okay with him as #5 or 6.

McConkey.... any relation to Phil McConkey?
Plays like him, but no, no relation. He will be awesome in the Pats offense ala Welker, Edelman, Amendola and Brown

Who dat?

Williams -Daniels or Penix Jr. will find Tyquan next year no worries. Really tough to evaluate some WR's on this roster well not Juju and Parker we already know. But Thornton and Boutte should be better next season if we get that QB. That said Jalen Reagor sucks!
Penix will find the ir before he finds Thornton. One healthy season in 5 years is something to think about. NFL comparison should be Jimmy Glass Garapolo.

If he and ***ot make the team next year, that'd be kind of fun.

Yeah way out on him.

Like third or forth round to me.

Thornton is a bust. Hate to say it.

if a receiver is good they show it early. Pop Douglas seems to have no problem. Jakobi Meyers seems to be okay on his 5th QB. Mitchell produced right away with Brady.

I heard the same "well he needs time to develop!" For Aaron Dobson, Nkeal harry and plenty of other draft busts on bills scrap heap

Our inability to draft an NFL caliber WR in an offensive league is just mind boggling.

When we whiff we don't even end up with a #3 guy. We end up with dudes who don't even belong in the league at all.

Thorton played in the defenseless Big 12, and he is a stick figure, anyone could have saw that he is not built for the NFL!

Stop trying to outsmart everyone and just take the BPA from the SEC or in the case of WRs the Big Ten.

There is huge doubt that Tyquan can catch adequately to present a threat.

That being said, his speed allows him to get open a lot downfield, and we certainly don't have QBs who can take advantage of that.

All we know is that Tyquan is 0 for 1 in catching bombs this season, which means we don't have an adequate number of attempts to judge. And that's the problem right there, whether it's Tyquan's fault or not. We do know it's the QBs fault for a complete inability to throw downfield.

Love the move at the LOS and the separation he created. Zappe lead him by a foot too much for it to be a TD and it wasn’t as easy as catch as some are making it out to be (especially in the rain) but he has still to come down with that.

May be problems both with drafting and developing

The people waiting for Tyquan to break out are still waiting for Harry and Dobson to break out.
