It's also possible that Brady was as physically hurting after the game - he got whacked several times. Look at this video (and see why Brady wants Wynn back in the worst way):

Of course Brady isn't going to say "my back is killing me right now" - he's going to put up a good face.

I just re-watched the game. You are correct. Nobody can get seperation. Ben Watson seems to be good for at least one penalty per game too. Very troubling.

The receivers on swings or in the flat have plenty of separation and Brady has been off on those throws all season long.

    What a dumb article.

As someone who knows the inside of the operation, Tom has every right to be disappointed about any portion of the offense. He knows what he is seeing down to the finest detail, we are in the bleachers, press box, barstool or couch.

****ing spectators man, acting like we know what time it is.

Tom can feel how he feels for any number of reasons and here we are, speculating.

    As @LJRomanoff said,
    Who Cares?

No, they didn’t. Unless the the defense was in zone (Cover-3, Cover-4), which the Eagles rarely were, those backs were not open. All you have to look at is how quickly they were brought down if Brady did get the ball to them. The offense, to date, has sucked after Brown and Gordon were let go. When you only have one man who can beat man, you’re going to see guys like White and Burkhead take the kind of hits in their production that you’re seeing throughout the course of this year. Same with Sony who, for good reason, is beginning to be worked in on third downs.

Here's a catch-all headline that should just explain everything:

"Super Competitive Professional Athlete Disappointed With Being Weakest Performing Unit on Winning Team"

It'll pop up next to "The Sky Can Sometimes Be Blue" and "New Study: Employees Like Paid Days Off"

    Elephant in the room.

Brady's pissed because he knows he's done, and isn't going to make 45. Everything else stems from that fact. But no, everyone, including Curran, needs to stick their heads in the sand, because it's Kraft's fault that Brady's 42.

I have my own issues with Kraft, but Curran's vendetta has reached ridiculous levels.

I’m not going to sit back and say that I know for certain Brady isn’t declining. Maybe he is. But I’m pretty knowledgeable about the game and what to look for and I’m not sure how anyone is coming to that conclusion with 100% certainty. The guy was the best QB in the NFL with a full compliment at the beginning of the season. Suddenly, his numbers took a dip when both of these were shipped out and replaced weeks later with Sanu and a rookie who just came off IR. Is it possible he’s declining? Sure. But we’ve seen this before when his options at sucked in the passing game. Even in his prime in 2006. What we’re seeing is the product of bad luck combined with the fact that the team has spent 4-5 seasons straight investing more in the defensive side of the ball than the offensive side of the ball.

This ... I don’t know whether he thinks he is done - but is is unhappy with his own play. He has done a lot more with less.

Yeah, it looks a lot more like a replay of 2006 and 2013 than anything else.

Brady will be done eventually but every attempt to be the first in line to predict it has ended up looking moronic. I'll let somebody else play that IS THE DECLINE REAL THIS TIME ?!?!?! game.

(looks at 2006 and 2013 stats)

    Ehhhhhh

We lost a Super Bowl where he threw for 505 yards. Investing in defense does not seem that dumb. You cannot have everything with the salary cap

His OL is injured, AB and JG were here and now gone.

This offense was executing teams early on this season and with current developments noted above, struggling hard.

Let’s see what holds more weight:

    Tom has fallen off
Tom had the carpet pulled out from under him

I literally said none of that. Just that the state of the offense currently is the result in investing more heavily in the defensive side of the ball for that many seasons.

Sorry, this just sounds a lot like the 'If Drew had an offensive line..." argument to me.

The key indicator to me, is the interceptions, near interceptions, and interceptions in the red zone. Eagles flat out dropped three of them on Sunday. If you want to blame the offensive line or receivers for that, you're within your right to do so. It's an accuracy issue. He can rip a couple of throws in a row, but not 20 in a row like he used to, without throwing one in the dirt, or worse, into a defender's jersey.

Nothing's 100% certain, but imagine if that's not Tom Brady out there, but it's oh, I dunno, Eli Manning.

This is what the end looks like, even if it's not completely over, and I think under the right conditions (Dome vs. Houston with a weak defense), he's going to look great. He's not Peyton at the end, yet, if he ever will be, because I don't think Brady has any motivation to stick around for a paycheck (which Kraft would give him if he went over Belichick's head again).

But if this isn't the end, it sure looks like it. That said, the Patriots can absolutely win with 'crafty Brady gutting it out for one last year' this year, no question, especially if they get home field.

It's an unpopular opinion for lots of people I'm sure, so load up on the Red Xs.
