I was at the game absolutely he is declining Brady in his prime made everyone better.
However at worst he is a top 15 QB talent wise.
However he is number 1 in game situations he knows that to do.
He won’t lose you many games.
Can he rally behind 28 points again no no he can not.
Michel is a such a disappointment I hated the pick he made me eat my words in the playoffs but if he doesn’t have a injury he is coming back from and we don’t know he now Plays like a jag.
Awful waste of a first rounder please let Caserio go to Houston if that was his pick.
Chubb is 5 times the back and we never take backs early I don’t understand.
Having no running game no deep threat and no o line protection will look anyone look Less than Great.
However Brady in the past would of shined this up a little bit and talked about the guys in a glowing fashion.
He’s been more Peyton with his words with talking about inexperience and vocally acknowledging his frustration.
Build the Statue but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Stidham the guy next year using Brady’s cap to keep the defense intact.
Draft receivers and have a QB like Stidham who won’t stop looking their way when they make a mistake.
I’m sorry that’s my take dislike away.

It’s depressing to watch Patriots fandom turning on Brady, but not entirely surprising. If he bails next season or retires and we inevitably begin our decline into mediocrity and irrelevancy we all deserve it as a fan base for being entitled, ungrateful ****s.

He has given it all for the organization and the fans for near twenty years and probably been the #1 reason for the greatest dynasty the sport has ever witnessed. God forbid he exhibit frustration at age 42 that they’ve provided dismal talent to work with for two straight seasons. He isn’t in his prime but he is still damn good when provided some help and when the time arrives to perform in the clutch he delivers better than anyone in the league.

So a collective **** you and enjoy the teams descent toward the bottom of the AFC East in the near future.

Speaking of AB he’s apologizing to Kraft on Instagram. Can’t wait for the speculation on this one.

Meh. They won in 2016 with no Gronkowski, an equivalent line, equivalent-at-best wide receivers, and a far inferior defense.

Saying 'he had the rug pulled out from under him' is pretty disingenuous. No Andrews hurts. No Wynn for most of the year has hurt. Sorry, this WR crew isn't half as bad as 2006 or 2013. Not even in the same zip code.

I've never been much of a fan of the sports writer pop psych fanfiction genre. WHAT IS HE REALLY ~FEELING~ is something I could not possibly care less about.

The offense was bad and he's mad, and we'd be pissed if he wasn't and it would be spun as WHY DOESN'T HE CARE MORE HE'S JUST COASTING

And the disloyalty of chowderhead Pats fans isn't a stunner but you still hate to see it.

So how are you explaining the way he looked in September vs the way he looks now? When the year started, he was the best quarterback in football. Did he decline suddenly and drastically in six weeks or are there other variables that could possibly be at play here?

Not sure about that. The Defense was setting the offense up for success. They were still awkward to watch. :(

You make it sound like all of these things were Plan A. I get he's frustrated by the offensive struggles, he's not used to them. But he's not blaming any of those guys, and I doubt he's blaming BB for not trying to give him better. It's been a snake bitten year.

Great post. He is pissed because the offense ****ing sucks and he is a competitor and wants the unit as a whole to function better.

I’m not saying he’s blaming anyone for anything. I’m saying he knows what we all know, his uplifting cast is weak and it’s effecting his play.

Clearly there is a lot of speculation on curran's part. Brady is always pissed when he or the offense plays like crap. This it not much different. People are adding his reaction with his age and contract and jumping to conclusions.

And see, again, you're taking it a step farther than I'm willing to go. We know he's frustrated with how the offense is playing, but pretending we know what he's thinking (and why he thinks it) is just projecting our own opinions onto him.

Yes, that's how it usually works.

That said, I can't say he was the best QB in football in September. The pinpoint accuracy we're used to, simply wasn't there. Still good, better than most guys, but he wasn't 2016 Brady.

Very well may be. He could just be frustrated with himself but no one really knows.

No, that’s not the way declines usually work. He thew for 1,061 yards, 7 TDS, and 1 INT. Then he lost Develin and the threat of the ground game between the tackles, Wynn, Brown, and had Edelman dealing with injury halfway through the Jets game. Then he lost Gordon. 2016 Brady isn’t making that work, either.
