1487 yards, 14 tds, 4.0 yards per carry. Curtis Martin rookie season!

I'll buy that for a dollar

That’s 372 carries, don’t see that happening. Less carries, higher yards per. TDs seems high too, as Maye and Dre will steal goaline carries.

That all said, I posted awhile back that we haven’t had a RB like this since Martin, so I’m expecting big things.

I see more like 160 carries 750 yards 50 receptions 450 yards 10 total TDs
This is probably more accurate. 150-200 carries, 35-50 receptions, 1000-1200 combined yards, 7-10 total TDs.

1487 yards, 14 tds, 4.0 yards per carry??? Nope. Not happening.

That sounds reasonable.

Only caveat is Henderson plays so well he ends up our #1 back, which could most certainly happen (many national analysts are predicting it). In that case maybe he ends up in the 255 carry territory, so could approach 1200 yards rushing.

I don’t see that happening because no matter how well he plays they will not put him out there full time because it will diminish his effectiveness in the areas he is most effective.

We’ll see. 15 carries a game is not exactly workhorse territory. That’s still low enough to keep him fresh

You want him making big plays not running up the middle on 2nd and 8.
Less is more

Less is not more.

Gibbs had 250 carries last year and 52 catches, 302 total touches. Yes I know the Montgomery injury played a role.

Henderson could most definitely be our RB #1 sooner rather than later. 18 touches a game is not a complete impossibility. 12-15 runs; 3-6 catches per game.

Do I hope Ram/Gib are effective and we can limit Henderson’s touches? Sure, but there is a very good chance he is just too good to keep his touches under 15 a game.

Good numbers AJ: I think that's attainable fro Henderson.
