It all just depends on how he holds up post-injury. If Wynn can slide in at LT and knock Brown over to RT (assuming he’s back), it automatically improves the edges.
That's a fairly substantial assumption
I dunno, Brown has looked adequate often with help, but if he did not sign a reasonable contract where would we be?? Not sure about Wynn at LT, so they would have to expend their draft "capital" on an unknown offensive lineman??
Make the push to sign him at a reasonable contract, and use the 1st draft pick for some front 7 defensive help..
Is that just a euphemism for "big butt"?

I am so worried about Wynn because of BB's poor history with injured Draft picks. I am not so sure we won't be Drafting the position again. I think resigning Mount Brown would be a Great precautionary move. We didn't really see much from Wynn who I think might be better suited at Guard when it's all said and done.
You're saying BB is now predicting his draft pick's injuries?
Wynn played left tackle on a historically good rushing offense and stoned dead a number of top draft picks as a pass blocker. He's a tackle until proven otherwise, regardless of what his position said on the draft tracker. Achilles are tough, but if he's healthy he'll be the starting LT next year. Brown's barely adequate, if he wants starter money then they should let him walk.
What started is a known fact lay off the BB Coolaid.
I was assuming for the purposes of my post. But, if we’re being honest, the Patriots will more than likely gain a healthy amount of gap room in the offseason. It’s not as substantial as you’re making it out to be.That's a fairly substantial assumption
