It seems to be getting beyond a coincidence that they really do play poorly in Florida, perhaps due to the humidity. The Jacksonville game today reminded me so much of so many @Miami games where the offense struggles badly in the first half and the defense collapses in the second quarter, and Belichick, Brady, and McDaniels always seem to have a collective nervous breakdown. Even last year @Tampa Bay the offense was terrible on their Thursday night game but the Bucs were just too terrible to capitalize.

To be fair that was more a product of Thursday night games being hot garbage with no recovery time and a game without Gronk. The Miami MNF game later in the season was a much bigger cluster****.

The Patriots are 10-6 in the month of September in the 5 years that they won a Super Bowl, including 3 seasons where they had 2 losses.

So I just can't bring myself to panic over a road loss to a very talented team. Lot of football left to play.

So we lost to one of the best teams in the NFL on the second week of the season, at their stadium in 100 degree weather. We were missing our top wide receiver, had a rookie running back in his first game, along with another running back who was on concussion protocol all week. Lost our top dlineman in the first half, and one of our top d-backs midway through the game. We were basically two plays, a trip and what should have been an offsides on a punt away from being right in the game. And Patsfan has decided that our defense sucks, our offense sucks, Brady sucks, BB sucks, Josh sucks, the new defensive coordinator sucks, and Kraft sucks. If only we had kept Jimmy G!
