Mayfield definitely sustained some type of injury on one of the many hits he had to absorb. His balls were way, WAY off after that.

Never expect last year's most-improved team to make a similar improvement the next year. They can be better and still be 8-8. They won some close ones last year that they could have lost.

I believe in Mayfield but it's too soon to have them be discussed as a playoff team, let lone a Super Bowl contender.

Gregg Williams shouldn't have been fired. Kitchens couldn't get his team going, 18 penalties is undisciplined. Let us see if the Browns improves. They got the Jets, Rams, Ravens, 49ers, and Seahawks.

I thought they were crazy hiring Kitchens and kicking Williams to the curb. But they were scared to lose him to another team for their HC job given what he did for Mayfield, but I would have taken the risk. If that doesn’t work it’s a lot easier to find an OC than a head coach. Especially when you’re upgrading Hue Jackson who is terrible.
