But Josh did do it successfully with NE...it's a better record IMO than Shanahan, whose now 25-26 as an HC.
So did all our other offensive coordinators. I wonder what the common denominator is.

By the way Josh’s HC record is 11-17 so once again I’m not sure what your point is.

49ers make a lot of sense actually. Home town, Gisele in CA, dominant defense, didn’t win SB last year so still something to fight for, fun young receiver, Jimmy G is their weakness, lots of money to spend if they drop Jimmy.

Because a record is more than wins and losses. Josh's overall body of work is 6 super bowl rings. He also turned a crap QB like Cassel into something decent - you seem to ignore that when trashing him. Kyle's overall body of work includes two of the biggest SB chokes and being outscored 46-0 in the 4th quarter of those SBs. I would never in a million years trade Josh for Shanahan. But if Brady signs with SF you can become a Niners fan.

Okay you’re one of those. I’m done here.

Essentially he just threw a hissy fit. Could you imagine the frenzy that would ensue if Kyle Shanahan announced he was looking for a new team? Josh McDaniels can't even get a head coaching job.

Agree...but how is Arians not tampering?
Why do you think NE cares about tampering? I bet they're in favor if it, since Brady will have a really good idea of what's out there and neither side will need to waste time when FA opens.

I just think it should be one of those rules that's enforced regardless of whether a team wants to "press charges." We know tampering is pretty rampant, but there are very specific rules written out that say you can't do something, like publicly talk to the press about how you're interested in signing a player under contract with another team. Pretty freakin dumb that Arians would say that; he can back channel all he wants, but there has to be a line somewhere.

If Kyle Shanahan was looking for a new job, it probably means that he didn't do very well at his old job . And Josh did get a HC job last year - he just chose not to accept it.

Bill Belichick is a sub .500 coach without Brady.

Which job did Josh get last year?

Cancel the season if Brady goes to SF. That team would win it all no doubt about it

The 49ers would be insane to do that, but if it means JG comes back to the Pats I'm all for it.

Jimmy G right now: oh ****, not again

If I were Brady, I'd think it through:

- Playing in the NFC West where Seattle was only a play away from winning it, the Rams were division winners the year before, and the Cardinals have nowhere to go but up.

- Playing in the NFC in general....there are going to be 2-3 other 12+ win teams, IMO.

- Niners still need to resign Sanders or upgrade at WR, IMO. Their only viable target is Kittle.

You mean at the end of the 2017 season?

So now you are picking on an incorrect date? The fact is you said Josh can't even get a decent HC and were wrong.

Lol @ anyone crapping on Shanahan. The guy is an offensive genius. He led the Falcons to a Super Bowl and had the offense flying turning Ryan into an MVP. He also had Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman playing better than ever and got Julio a couple of All Pro seasons. Then he led the 49ers to a super bowl with a QB in his first full season as a starter coming off an ACL tear and had a group of formerly thought of as JAG RBs all playing out of their minds. He maximizes guys skill sets in his system as good as anyone I’ve ever seen outside of Belichick.

Jimmy G should’ve been able to hit Kittle with his eyes close twice which would’ve led to points and the sander miss was a joke
