With five playoff match ups and eight Super Bowl rings between the two of them, quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning helped shape arguably the best position rivalry in NFL history.
On the field, Brady and Manning squared off 17 times, with Brady winning 11. In the posteason however, Manning retired with a 3-2 edge.
On Twitter Wednesday, Brady shared a selfie of the two future hall of famers while revealing a secret in the process.
“Spoiler alert…we were friends this whole time. Always great to see you Peyton!” Brady tweeted.
So maybe the rivalry was on-field exclusive, regardless, that is a lot of touchdowns and passing yards in one photograph.
