The perceived gamble is silly.

If Brady is healthy, they can compete for a championship. If Brady isn't healthy, they can't. If Belichick is really kicking the tires on the likes of Andy Dalton, he's lost his mind and has bought into the media stupidity that he can win a Super Bowl on his coaching alone.

There’s this consistent slant of Brady moving on specifically because Belichick isn’t saying or doing the right things, which would seem to imply that Brady wants Belichick to say and do the right things in order to keep him around.
