Talib is our key defensive player.

Gonna get 3 before the half.

hmm someones back in the game

Perfect throw by Big Ben. Patriots are playing #Steelers straight up...no particular double or combo drawn to Pitt's top WR, Antonio Brown

A FG is worth very little win equity especially when behind or ahead by a lot. The conversion rate from 4th and goal on short yardage and the fact that ~80% of the time you get the ball back in FG territory again if you fail to convert makes it correct to always go for it there especially when the score is wider.

BUT THATS NOT THE WAY ITS ALWAYS BEEN DONE!

To be fair, the study that found that it's generally better to go for it on 4th down than to kick/punt found two major exceptions: fourth and forever, and inside either 10.

I hope the O can put up points before the half.

Trash run-D and no Talib in the secondary...

that's why we shouldn't be settling for field-goals by running it on 3rd & goal (20 yards).

Well just under 2 mins, lets see what the O can do

Does that happen with Talib? Nope

Any of our corners would struggle 1on1 with Antonio Brown. Might be the fastest receiver in the league. I actually hope we get a little more zone in the 2nd half because if we don't completely nock them off the LOS were getting burned.

Why is it when our offense is bad our defense is good but when our offense is good our defense turns to garbage? Can we not have a good offense and good defense at the same time? Ugh.

Jeff Howe ?@jeffphowe 56s
Tip-of-the-cap touchdown there. Really nice throw from Roethlisberger to Brown, who simply beat Dennard down the field.

This garbage offensive play calling will end up costing us in the playoffs.

You really need to read a football primer.

Please go back to JI.

Thanks, ref. I didn't see the play, but I'll take the call.

No, it didn't. Find me a single analytics site or study that says anything other than what I just posted. It's unanimous to go for it there.

troy polamalu!!

Troy having a rough day...

Well..they are injured and the other team also has some good players capable of beating your players. Pretty normal.
