Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Steelers game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

ooo..that was very bad run defense

Come on D. Keep them out of the endzone. A sack or a pick would be nice.

a third TO would be nice right now!!

This garbage offensive play calling will end up costing us in the playoffs.

Re: Re: The Official Patriots vs Steelers game thread

And why is that?

A FG is worth very little win equity especially when behind or ahead by a lot. The conversion rate from 4th and goal on short yardage and the fact that ~80% of the time you get the ball back in FG territory again if you fail to convert makes it correct to always go for it there especially when the score is wider.

BUT THATS NOT THE WAY ITS ALWAYS BEEN DONE!

Does that happen with Talib? Nope

This is the first time all season that Dennard seems a bit over-matched. He's been so good all season, but Brown is giving him fits right now.

Same play they didn't connect on on the previous drive.

that D

we have a game folks. steelers are a desperate team. can't take them lightly

So the gronk returns, and the defense goes back to old UGH.

That's because that's idiotic.

Great. Defense has cracked. No pass rush to speak of on that drive. Disgusting.

Hey look, Ben reached one of Natz's talking points.

He was overmatched by the Idaho police. Which hasn't happened to anyone ever.

damn......Why oh why did that happen Sometimes the D plays so well and sometimes they are so .....

You could really see it at the end of that last run. No next gear. Tough dude though.

Yeah, he's extremely tough. I wanted to see what he could do in this offense, but we may not get a clear picture this season because, unfortunately, I think the type of injury he has will limit him. It'll never actually get better because he'll continue to play and put stress on it.
