Both defenses are performing at maximum capacity. Let's not forget the Patriots have scored 13 unanswered since the Chargers' defense scored a TD. Chargers offense hasn't scored since the 1st quarter
Are people starting to realize that running the ball is ineffective if the line can't block. The offensive woes are because of the line and guys not getting open quick enough.
For the people screaming out running the football, not a great 2nd half for LeGarrette Blount running the football so far. He has four carries, 3 of which have gone for negative yardage. They're obviously struggling right now in that area, although I wouldn't mind seeing Gray get some carries unless they're just opting to go with the more experienced player.
As good as our defense is playing tonight, I still have a sick feeling of being up less than seven and SD having the ball last. Just the way things are going tonight..........
