I miss our 2003-2004 physical teams. We are like the colts now. Media darlings when they score a lot of pts until they meet a physical team like the former pats team. This is the same thing we are seeing.

To be fair, the reason the D looks subpar right now can be directly linked to the offense's inability to do...well, anything.

The defense is usually subpar (except when they generate turnovers - which they do at a high rate). The subpar defense is usually covered up by the offense scoring 35 plus.

Our secondary is putty in reality, too much ball hawking and not enough playing your position.

They are NOT a good secondary overall. Dennard is going to be good I think in a few years....Talib is OK...but not going to set the world on fire and certainly can't change the entire secondary with his stepping onto the field. They are going to be SPOTTY and inconsistent the rest of the way. IF we could get a pass rush going....it could take some pressure off the secondary. The way it is going....the secondary is going to get exposed the rest of this game
