Depending on how close to maximizing his current athletic ability he is, and on how much more of it will return to him, I would make a claim on him as our LT/LG backup, to go with Schwenke as our LG/C backup, Karras as our C/RG backup and Waddle as our RG/RT backup.

I’d expect some interest there from New England. Right, @manxman2601?

Been hoping we can swing a trade or take a look at him for 2 years now. Would love a look and keep him around for next offseason. We need to inject more youth into the WR group anyway.

That being said I guess if we really wanted him we would have offered minor trade compensation. It is not like his contract is big.
 
How about we put this in the replay thread? Probably will just get lost in this mega thread.

That’s very interesting. I’ve been reading the few write ups of him to follow his progress.
Worked all offseason to build back the muscle and conditioning. Must have been hell. Strict dietary program.
Didn’t work.
