Bowers to the JEts here it comes......No, it is Wilkerson, good

d%#*!@t. Wilkerson.

Ouch, Wilkerson taken by the Jets.

We basically started the run on OL starting at 17. Before that, a bit of a reach on some of the QBs. All of this leads to better available DL and OLB depth in the second round. Personally, I think we're doing a great job of playing this draft so far. We needed a solid OL and we got a top prospect before there was a run on the best available OLs. Heyward, Sheard, etc still on the board as well as some OLB prospects like Reed, Ayers, etc.

It's not the most fun draft to watch from a Pats perspective, but we should be used to it by now. I'm a fan of what BB is doing...

I'm just glad Jets didn't pick Brooks Reed. That guy hurts people.

I really liked Wilkerson

wow, looks like we passed on Ingram . . .

I guess BB is going with Green Ellis and Danny Woodc$ock . . .

nah, RB is a deep position after Ingram.

I like LeShoure, DeMarco Murray, Shane Vereen, Roy Helu, Evan Royster and Jamie Harper.

Jets go with Wilkerson

welllll there goes wilkerson.... great another pick i want gone

Hint: Patriots record was 11-2 and drafted #17.
Next year, they will also have a great record and have an option of drafting very high.
The Patriots have been a dominant team for a decade.
Was there a question?

Pats record was 14-2 and their draft pick was #28. Not #17

I bet Wilkerson can eat a lot of snacks.

I think you misunderstood me, I just ment we need to win while Brady is still playing great. I think BB will still stick around. Can't keep delaying picks over and over.
Nah, I understood your intimation it was more a flow on comment to compliment your let's win now. It seems that BB is of the mantra that let's stay competitive for as long as possible.

After seeing what he did with Matt Cassel, despite my love for Brady and his GOAT status I have faith that he'll develop a worthy QB to take over when the time comes.

God I hate jets fans. Praying Bowers makes it to 33. I think Cunningham will make a nice jump next year but they really have to get someone else too.

Why celebrating trading out? We have one of the best QBs to ever play and he's in the prime of his career and we keep keep trading out or hoarding picks. Who cares how many draft picks we have next year? How is our pass rush going to improve? Is our team better as off now than last year?

Did you notice last years picks were the best of any team? Lots of hoarding needed to create that result.

BTW, do you think you know the Pats and the game better then BB? No? Then why are you complaining?

That selection just absolutely PISSED ME OFF!! What the hell is our damn team doing?

So, Bowers is going to plummet isn't he?

Excellent point. Because, as we all know, second round picks aren't "real" draft picks. Simply illusory.

The guy I hoped for at #28.
Tough to see him go to Jets.
Jets draft well.
