Looks like Peter King's intell was right. He said a team his guess was the Pats were already had a deal to trade out of the first for a 2011 second and 2012 first.

thats a stretch. King said someone would trade a late first for a second and 2012 1st, and the fact it happened means it was preplanned?
Um, I think it has probably happened in every draft for a number of years. It was a guess.

People need to stop assuming that BB is going to retire when Brady does. Everything I've observed points to a man who loves what he's doing and seems intent on staying as long as he's wanted.

I think you misunderstood me, I just ment we need to win while Brady is still playing great. I think BB will still stick around. Can't keep delaying picks over and over.

I should've listened to my own advice. A BB draft is not worth getting amped up for regardless of how many high picks the Pats have stockpiled. Maybe when there's a rookie salary cap things will change. Now I'm wondering how many of those 2s and 3s actually will be used.

Next year, they will also have a great record and have an option of drafting very high.

I am not sure how you that out of his post. He said Brady is not getting younger, which is true and the window with him is closing.
