Let's see if we can limit this stuff a bit. Have at it, people.
Yeah and if Shane Vereen played as he did in week 1 of 2013 he could be better than Adrian Peterson is. Amendola had 10 catches for 104 yards, which would not have even been a notable game for Welker, interestingly enough Welker also against the Bills had 16 catches for 217 yards, and 2 touchdowns back in week 3 of 2011.Game 1 vs. Buffalo last year was a loss without him gutting it out in the 2nd half. In fact, that effort may have kept him from being able to heal for the rest of the year.
If healthy, he definitely does not suck. If healthy, he may be better than Welker.
IF HEALTHY, though, could be used for a number of players who did not cut it in this league. If my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. This may be Amendola's path, unfortunately.

Posters and fans want to point to these games in which Amendola excels and say if he is ever healthy he is going to do this every week, the reality is that is foolish. Plenty of players have a couple great games in a season, if Dennard played as he did in the Colts game every week he would be the best CB ever. What makes Welker great and other players great is the show up every single week and produce,
This is not Amendola's first NFL season so even if the groin was an excuse what about all the other years when players like Gibson and Lloyd were outproducing him in St Louis. He also played HALF that game with his groin ripped from the bone, which leads back to the point in the first place.....
IF HEALTHY.
Not really sure what your point was?
Also it is nieve to think that in his six seasons Welker never had an injury. Welker played through them and still produces 100+ catches and 1000+ yards.
Do you really think that matters that much? Welker caught 100+ balls with Matt Cassell as his QB.Who was throwing him the ball?
