Why Montana has 4 also and is god in the most important game of the year every single time hes played in a SB. I have the up most respect for Brady but lets see what happens when its all said and done. As of right now hes not
Brady would be 'God in the SB' after leading his team to the winning score if Asante Samuel held on, one of 6 guys didn't let go of Manning and/or Tyree doesnt catch the pass he cant see. Thats not Bradys fault. Montana isnt better because his defense stopped the drive after he put his team ahead.
Leon Washington did **** last year. What did he contribute a whopping 331 yards? Tomlinson and Greene are better then any RB on your team. Your running game is more the product of an awesome oline. I think Greene will have a terrific season, hes better then Jones at his current age because he can actually break tackles and has some burst. I understand you guys were ranked 12th but we were rank 1st and I don't expect much of a drop off while you guys didn't do much to improve your running game.
I didnt even mention Washington.
The 2 most important were Faneca and Jones.
Tomlinson is over the hill, and not better any longer than anyone we have, and Greene can't be determined because he hasn't played enough to judge.
You should look up Laurence Maroney.
What did we do to improve our running game? Ideally we will not have 2 major contributors injured for large portions of this season too. We also will have Vollmer starting full time, and no longer a rookie.
You did things to make your running game worse.
We will never be the #1 rushing team because we have Tom Brady. Rankings dont tell the whole story but if your running game slips it could be devastating with such a poor QB.
At best its 50/50 whether your running game is worse. But that would require Shonn Greene to go from 108 carries to a workhorse capable of leading the #1 rushing attack. That is a TREMENDOUSLY LARGE assumption on your part.
I agree but the Pats are talented but completely unproven at TE which is why i say landslide. Trust me I didn't mean it in a way that i thought we were awesome at TE lol Wasn't trying to claim we had a dope TE unit.
You cant have a landslide if you are mediocre.
We loss our weakest link. Maybe I shouldn't of said in a landslide because your offensive line is pretty awesome. But I'm going to give ours the benefit of the doubt based on having the best C, a elite LT, and 2 great road graders on the right side. Plus we have as good as OL coach as there is
Revisionist history aside Faneca was not your weakest link. He was your best run blocker
To call the right side of your line 'GREAT' makes me just want to put you on ignore. Thats silly. Damien Woody a GREAT RT, oh borther.
I completely disagree I think Harris is better then Mayo. He makes a lot more impact plays. Scott is awesome against the run adn hes a tough SOB and sure tackler. To put a pair of rookies up against him is laughable in my opinion. Pace is definitely good guy had 8 sacks in 12 games last year and was a force in every game. I think your underrating him. Thomas is ehhh solid if unspectacular
Mayo is a better player than Harris. Maybe you were watching him play on an injured knee last year to draw that conclusion. Healthy, Mayo is one of the top 2-3 ILBs in the NFL.
As I said I think Scitt is terribly overrated. You just carried that on. Pace does not impress me, getting 8 sacks mostly due to scheme making him free or blocked by a RB is not a sign of greatness.
You think Cromartie is awful? Barring injury he may surpass Bodden, who is definitely good. He was an All Pro for a reason. You don't pick off 10 passes and Peyton Manning 3 times in one half by accident. Mayweather is better then Leonhard so i'd say your safeties are better but we are much deeper at CB. Revis is the best player on both defenses which is one of the reasons its a landslide. Kyle Wilson was a coin flip away from being selected #7 overall I'd say hes going to be pretty damn good himself.
Yes, Cromartie is awful. He got a bunch of picks on a good team by gambling which made everyone overlook that aside from those picks he wasnt covering anyone very well. That is not my definiton of a good corner.
He was sent packing from SD because he wouldn't play the defense that was called, refused to tackle, and was an undisciplined guy that QBs picked on. Yeah, he sucks. Better than Bodden???? Wow, you need some lessons on evaluating corners.
What is a coin flip away from being the 7th pick? What does that even mean? He was the 28th pick, what does the 7th pick have to do witb that?
Overall definitely good feedback from you. [/quote]
