Here's a tip:
The sky can't be falling in Week 9.
It is if you are an Eagles fan.

Thats one of those
"I've just taken the viagra at the worng time" poses isn't it*
* Not that I use it or anything.
I actually respected this one a bit, and for some reason felt a bit sorry for him. To me he just seemed like a goofy NFL fan, although seeing the .gif/.jpg will be funny all year.
One of the images I enjoyed most was seeing Fireman Ed near the end of the game, hat off and dejected...looking old and having no energy. After all, we did have to see him approximately 10-15 times throughout the game, LOL.
I hate it that I can't listen to my own homers, Gino and Gil, during these games (sych problems where radio is ahead of game).
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Thought i would let you guys know , its like the sky is falling down in jet land
JI and GG forums are full of pessimistic threads being moved or merged, what a bunch of pathetic losers
MODS please delete this thread after a while :rocker:
They're still convinced they will make the playoffs no problem
They really don't seem to understand how tight the playoff race might be. I'm not saying we won the division, but hypothetically if we win, they're going to be be in a huge battle for a wildcard.
If you read this board last week, one might have thought the same about us..
It was like the sky was falling down in Patsfans land...
Our threads were full of pessimistic comments: BB is terrible, what wrong with Brady, we need to stretch the field, terrible draft, terrible talent evaluation, hire a new DC, hire a new OC.. it went on and on. Winning solves a bunch of problems..
Easy solution. The Pats just won't lose anymore games. Problem solved.
How about when Deion mocked his J-E-T-S cheer after his TD? Normally I don't like showboating, but since we had to see Fireman Ed all night, it was fitting.
Also, I know I am a homer, but I came THIS CLOSE to turning off Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth. Until the Pats started making it a blowout in the 2nd half, it was all about the Jets. WTF! They led for about one minute right before half time. The Pats methodically marched down the field on them all night (we stalled the first two times, but not much thereafter); their D, held together with no names and scotch tape confused the Jets all night long. Yet, Collinsworth kept saying, this feels like a Jets game; and, wait until the 2nd half where Sanchez always plays lights out (he didn't use those words, but you get my meaning). GRRR. I hate it that I can't listen to my own homers, Gino and Gil, during these games (sych problems where radio is ahead of game).
It is funny. Fred Toucher is in Jets Insider board mode. He is ranting that the Pats defense did nothing special last night and the it was the Jets who beat themselves. He said that 20 other QB in the league would have picked the Pats' defense apart last night. I think it might be in the Jets' fans DNA to react like this after a loss.
so, sadly, the Jets board is currently what this board for the last two weeks has been. And, even more sadly, the next Patriot loss will likely have a return to the New England Patriot board acting like the Jets board. :bricks:
45% of Jets fans are saying no, they don't want to look for Sanchez's replacement. How is that wanting him out of there?
I was reading over on JI that Sancizes problem is that he throws the ball to hard. They want to bring Chad Pennington in to tutor sanchize on how to "Tone his Arm Down"TheGangGreen.com - the most complete source of New York Jets information
Is it time to start looking for Mark Sanchez's replacement?
