The jets boards are a mess right now(merged)

I actually respected this one a bit, and for some reason felt a bit sorry for him. To me he just seemed like a goofy NFL fan, although seeing the .gif/.jpg will be funny all year.

One of the images I enjoyed most was seeing Fireman Ed near the end of the game, hat off and dejected...looking old and having no energy. After all, we did have to see him approximately 10-15 times throughout the game, LOL.

How about when Deion mocked his J-E-T-S cheer after his TD? Normally I don't like showboating, but since we had to see Fireman Ed all night, it was fitting.

Also, I know I am a homer, but I came THIS CLOSE to turning off Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth. Until the Pats started making it a blowout in the 2nd half, it was all about the Jets. WTF! They led for about one minute right before half time. The Pats methodically marched down the field on them all night (we stalled the first two times, but not much thereafter); their D, held together with no names and scotch tape confused the Jets all night long. Yet, Collinsworth kept saying, this feels like a Jets game; and, wait until the 2nd half where Sanchez always plays lights out (he didn't use those words, but you get my meaning). GRRR. I hate it that I can't listen to my own homers, Gino and Gil, during these games (sych problems where radio is ahead of game).

Rather pathetic that there is not one thread regarding the LT injury.

No ****. This place was pathetic the last two weeks.

The best thing is they'll be so busy debating whether to dump Sanchez, they won't have time to come over here and talk smack about taking over as AFC East and Super Bowl Champs.

I grew up with Gil and Gino, and love those guys. That's why I can't listen to them. Age has really caught up with those guys, and it's severely affecting their broadcast.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thought i would let you guys know , its like the sky is falling down in jet land

JI and GG forums are full of pessimistic threads being moved or merged, what a bunch of pathetic losers

MODS please delete this thread after a while :rocker:

LOL!

it does not get any better than this!

They're still convinced they will make the playoffs no problem

They really don't seem to understand how tight the playoff race might be. I'm not saying we won the division, but hypothetically if we win, they're going to be be in a huge battle for a wildcard.

yeah there are a group of teams all bunched together for the wild card spots right now.

off the top of my head: ravens, bengals, bills, titans, entire afc west...

If you read this board last week, one might have thought the same about us..

It was like the sky was falling down in Patsfans land...

Our threads were full of pessimistic comments: BB is terrible, what wrong with Brady, we need to stretch the field, terrible draft, terrible talent evaluation, hire a new DC, hire a new OC.. it went on and on. Winning solves a bunch of problems..

Yeah, but their board is much funnier in its misery than this one is. Maybe it's the New York accents I imagine every time I read there. Looking forward to listening to WFAN today at work. (And I must say there are many days when it's a better alternative than the local options.)

Easy solution. The Pats just won't lose anymore games. Problem solved.

Not at all out of the question. Collectively, the Patriots remaining opponents are 21-43. Only one - the Buffalo Bills - has a winning record.

Why does he have black eyes? Did he piss off a Pats fan, or is he in the process of beating himself up over the monumental loss? :camera::woot:

Don't you have a digital box? Just pause the game for like 4 seconds and it synchs up perfectly. For the parts I watched with them on I didn't think Michaels and Collinsworth were all that bad.

It is funny. Fred Toucher is in Jets Insider board mode. He is ranting that the Pats defense did nothing special last night and the it was the Jets who beat themselves. He said that 20 other QB in the league would have picked the Pats' defense apart last night. I think it might be in the Jets' fans DNA to react like this after a loss.

40 plus years of LOSING will embed into the DNA of anything. i hear that even the insect population of the metlife stadium is clinically depressed.....

so, sadly, the Jets board is currently what this board for the last two weeks has been. And, even more sadly, the next Patriot loss will likely have a return to the New England Patriot board acting like the Jets board. :bricks:

What's so sad about that?

It's the nature of the beast when it comes to Fan Forums. People passionate enough to hang around these places are obviously going to be emotional and USUALLY somewhat irrational about their team.

Re: OT: Jets poll their fan base and want Sanchez out!

45% of Jets fans are saying no, they don't want to look for Sanchez's replacement. How is that wanting him out of there?

I hope they don't replace him. I like him where he is at this stage of his career.
