Definitely one of the worst offenses in the league. All about the lack of talent on the OL. Whoever is under center will be running for their lives.

If we can’t establish the run game we will be a bottom 5 offense. Our QBs are not good enough to beat defenses that drop 7-8 defenders in coverage. Our success hangs firmly in the OL.

The offense has to be better than last year, right?

Every NFL team has a question mark or two heading into training camp. My issue with the 2024 New England Patriot offense is the vast number of question marks. And that's before considering that injuries are an inevitable reality in the National Football League.

Yes, there may be some pleasant surprises. But the margin for error is slim on this offense. What if the performance at left tackle leaves us yearning for Trent Brown? What if Hunter Henry and/or Rhamondre Stevenson miss long stretches due to unforeseen injuries?

My expectations are low because the margin of error for success on this unit is so slim. Far too many 'ifs'. I'm just looking for progress over the course of the season and the offense being competitive, with relatively few dumb turnovers.
As always good stuff! Here's reasons for optimism.

Addition by subtraction at the most important position in football. The 2023 version of Mac/zapp was the worst in the NFL last season. Brissett may not wow anyone, but he's a better option if he starts.

Drake, Drake and more Drake is what matters here. What if he shows out in camp.. and shows a that talent and overwhelming wins the starting job?

What if rham/Gibson Wich projects to be one of the best Backfield duos in the league Rham gets stronger as the game wears on.. LBs and D linemen don't want to tackle him in the 3rd and 4th quarter.. Gibson catches out the backfield, lines up out wide, makes people miss.. and is a ridiculous athlete.

What if polk& baker have a branch and Givens like season.. the defense needs no mention here becuase those Dawgs on defense will bring it each play.

QB meaning Brissett and Zappe.. yes I agree.

OL is going to hold them back if they can't have someone emerge at LT and fill both G' spots. Owenu is forced to play RT given how he just won the lottery courtesy of PFF. If the line can't block, Rham will be dead to rights and taken out of games early.

Brissett is going to piss a lot of us off and have game day threads erupt with his lack of urgency.

It will be interesting who wins the battle at WR this camp.

That can be said about every team. However talent at the QB position can help an o line, and vice versa. Don't worry about Brissett becuase you'll only be seeing him in mop up duty In games.. I'm telling you Drake will win the starting job. Wether all of us NFL GMs and scouts on the forum think he should or not is another thing.

Burrow went to a superbowl with a weak o line..
Mahomes O-line wasn't all that last season
Allen his o line was suspect last season

Drake is a talented QB that just needs NFL In game experience. Curran seems adamant that Brissett is starting this season However let's see his reporting come August!
