The 2020 Super Bowl pregame thread

Chiefs brought a lot of blitzes against Brady in Week 12. Smart move, especially with Tampa's confidence at their season low and the team struggling to integrate all of their receivers. Wonder how much they'll bring on Sunday and how much better equipped Brady is to handle the blitz.

I don't know the finer points of pass protection and offenses, but why would Gronk let Clark come in unblocked like that and run a fifteen yard seem route directly into coverage rather than just drifting out for a wide open screen pass?

Tampa was still in throw it deep on all three downs that game even though they got blitzes and KC had two deep safeties. If they call the game they did after the bye they will shred the blitz up

Also if you watch the tape Brown only had 2 catches for 11 yards but he was open a lot of plays that game

Damn. That’s big. Their OL is already a MASH unit.

Brady has been good for a INT. He's thrown one in each of his Superbowl games other than SB52 since the dreaded 42 game. Since Superbowl 46 he has thrown at least 1 pick. I really hope he has a turnover free game.

I don’t think Super Bowl history means anything. The only thing that matters is how he does against the Chiefs with this Bucs team, and there’s some indicators from their first matchup and recent struggles with communication.

But if you want to go the Super Bowl route, Mahomes has 2 INTs in one game; Brady has 6 INTs in nine games.

Everything says the Chiefs should win. That said, you can never bet against Brady.

Exactly. If I was a gambling man my head would say " bet the Chiefs" but after witnessing the last twenty years I'd feel foolish not betting on the Bucs. With Brady you never know.

I can’t wait to see all the media outlets pick the chiefs. Mahomey this mahomey that. The chefs are the early 2000 colts. Mahomey is Peyton reincarnated with the media love fest.

Kermit is clutch though gotta give him that in his short span of playoff games.

Yeah I agree but it's a concerning trend. Then again he can always go for 500 yards like he did vs the Eagles

It would be a thing of joy.

How many Gifs is Brady responsible for? The Manning face. The Rex Ryan gif. The Arthur Blank face. .... Will there be a Andy Reid Gif?

The win over Buffalo was the first time in ten games the Chiefs won a game by more than six points.
with the way everyone won’t shut the **** about them, you would think that they had a point differential like the

1999 rams 284
2001 rams 230
2007 patriots 315

even the overrated 15-1 panthers team had a 192 differential. chiefs have a 111

also when I looked at the 2001 rams I saw that in their 2 regular season losses they turned the ball over 14 times lol. i’ve never understood why people try to say they’re the greatest offense ever. one of the best yes. but all 3 of those years they turned the ball over way too much

1999 Rams 31 TO
2000 Rams 35 TO
2001 Rams 44 TO

Wow! Sounds like a bunch of teams were filming their practices.

Also I believe Brady has 4 SBs where he has no picks. Rams (2001), both Eagles SBs, and the Giants (2007).

LOL at these clowns overconfidence
Chiefs Let's talk about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Super Bowl Edition) - ChiefsPlanet

They're also whining about the refs giving the Pats their AFCCG win in 2018

I can't wait to go there for some hilarity after the Bucs win.
They are stupid and Reid does not know the NFL rule book as good as a Dennys menu.

NFL rule book clearly states that neutral zone infractions inside 2 minutes are called. No exceptions.

Note: During the last two minutes of a half, after the ball has been spotted for the succeeding down at the line of scrimmage and the offense is legally set, if the ball is snapped before all members of the defensive team are on their side of the line of scrimmage, play shall be stopped immediately, and the defensive team penalized five yards for a neutral zone infraction.

Justin Houstons helmet was also in the neutral zone. If the Chiefs got screwed then why did they trade Dee Ford? Brady saw where Ford was and snapped the ball knowing it was a free play and lackadaisically lobbed a soft pass to Gronk that turned into an INT on a dead play. Those dopes still believe that the NFL took away a turnover that would have sealed the game for KC.

Chief fans are ignorant.

I bet Belichick bought that penalty. Because the ref that threw it was standing right next to Belichick. And he had his hand on the flag before the ball was snapped. He threw it in fact in a split second after the ball was hiked. Brady glanced over to his left first so it's possible that Brady saw it and got a free play out of it.

Nw let's talk about the Sammy Watkins pick play. That was a ridiculous non-call.

I thought for awhile that this could be a close game but the more I learn about the Bucs the more I think we’re winning this thing handily. Something like 37-27 but it looks close at the end because the Bucs for a TD late.

We’re all ****y but we’ve got Patrick Lavon Mahomes II so we’ve got every right to be

LOLOLOL. Kick the crap out of them Tommy.
