I totally agree. Other teams reached for highly suspect QBs. If JG wasn't really on the market, as plenty of reliable sources have said, better to load up on talent and wait for next year's QB class rather than hitching your wagon to a stiff.

As suspect players IMO as QBs they passed.

Don't force it. They're not a QB away. But with these picks and the ones they have banked for next year they're more likely to be when they do get a QB.

Well now it is over for all but the announcement. Day 2 has a ton of good players in it. I think the value will start to go up and up after pick 40. Some really good players will be there in the third.

The Number 72 pick will be like the number 42 pick in most years. It is that good a value.

I mean we'll see. Garrett was an obvious choice. Peppers could be a complete bust, jack-of-all, master of none have a history of not working out in the nfl (if he's gonna be used as a S me, I would have went Melifonwu , Maye or Baker over Peppers) and Njoku might be on of those guys that is only as good as his QB..

But solid job on get another 1st rounder...

I don't necessarily disagree with you. No one knew Brady was going to be what he became. People seriously debated whether to take Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning. In 1984 we drafted Tony Eason before the Dolphins drafted Dan Marino... No one knows which one is going to become great. So you really don't know if Jimmy is going to be better than these taken tonight in the draft. And the GMs know this.
