I think Cleveland does want JG and played it brilliantly, their FO is not like the past. They were really the only team with a pick between 6 and 24 that needed a QB and were a candidate for JG, as the Jets and Bills were never gonna be a trade partner with NE. The 2 teams that paid to trade up to 10 and 12 - the Chiefs and Texans - also weren't candidates for JG once they moved up, as they would have had to pay twice. So once Cleveland realized that Houston wanted to trade with them, they were home free to make that trade and gather more picks, cause none of the teams below them need a QB. Why pay the Pats a #12 when you can pay them a #25?
