The good news: Casserly is leading the search for their replacements.

The only reason the Rats ended up with Idzik is that none of the other candidates were interested in the job.

The rodents' situation won't improve as long as Woody Johnson owns the team.

Happily he doesn't seem to be ready to sell the team and Rats fans will continue to get the misery they richly deserve.

I read a post from a Jets fan and he referred to their playoff run in 09-10 as "the two championship seasons." That must really suck.

The main reason why none of the other GM candidates were interested was one of the prerequisites of accepting the job: keeping Rex as the head coach.

One hopes that Woody selects the head coach independently from the GM and magically hopes they'll be able to work together. It'll be just like old times!

Poor Rex, he was told to give the Jets fans the team they deserve and so he did. Now because of that little miscommunication he is losing his job. It certainly wasn't his fault, ask any of the fans. They deserve another year or two of Rex! After all, they are Jet fans.

I won't miss Wrecks one iota. Because he's foul and irritating. And because leaving along with him will be the best opposing defensive scheme in the division.

Why do we keep hearing reports that Rexxy could be a candidate for open HC jobs? He has proven, without a doubt, that his current peak is a DC. Maybe that will change in the future, but for now I cannot fathom that any team would want him as the face of their franchise.
