The Jets will be officially eliminated from the playoffs this Sunday when they lose to Carolina. If they somehow win that game, they will still be eliminated if the Ravens beat Detroit. That is all; carry on.

The big win-win would be if the Green Beans beat Carolina and Ravens beat Detroit: New Jersey is eliminated and Wrecks is guaranteed to return in 2014. But the Panthers and Lions are likely to win.

Looks like the Jets put Stephen Hill on IR apparently for a busted draft pick.

Jets placed WR Stephen Hill on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

Hill has been battling the knee injury off and on this season. He didn't play last week, and coach Rex Ryan hinted that the second-year receiver could be done for the year earlier in the week. Hill was a colossal disappointment as a sophomore, registering just 24 catches for 342 yards and one touchdown. His quarterback was part of the problem. Hill will look to up his game in 2014

Didn't the Jets trade up for Hill? They could have spent less to get Jeffrey. That draft they could have had Chandler Jones over Quinton Coples too. They took Josh Bush in the 6th round one pick ahead of Danny Trevathan who is a good player for the Broncos and plays a position of need for the Jets. They also had three picks in the sixth round and didn't draft Dennard who went shortly after to the Pats who was a steal in the 7th and a big need for the Jets. That draft is the could of had draft.

Remember when people on this board absolutely killed Belichick for not drafting Hill? He was supposed to have special talent that few WRs possess.

As I'm a member of most teams boards I believe theganggreen.com has a lot more knowledgeable fans than the JI does and yes it does seem to be a horrible existence rooting for certain teams.
