Content Post The 2013 season: The Jets suck (as usual)

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Geno should claim that he hired Miali because she was good looking. That would actually be an improvement for him and could get him in less trouble.

joker, i dont get it. we often make excuses ourselvs (welker dropped the pass!!!) so i dont see why jest fans cant do it...

100% behind Sanchez

The offense had no flow, no rythm, no discipline.

Offensive game plans and design have sucked the last several weeks, and he's had no confidence.

The players had no confidence on the field, beyond Sanchez.

Jets need to address WR and TE position this off-season, they need a #1 next to Holmes, and they need to replace Mulligan, the pass protection has been awful all year.

Sanchez is not the problem, far from it.

I defended Schotty all year, in the beginning I thought he warranted such defense, the last half of the season really has been brutal, you can see it in the play of every player, not just Sanchez, they had no confidence in what they were doing on the field.

He had a great first two years, but lacking talent and lacking confidence within the players on offense hurt them more than anything this year.

Sanchez will get some of the blame, but the proof is in the player language on the field, look at the questions raised to players in the post game, they cannot wait to move on from Schotty.

it's like an echo chamber in here...

at this point, the raging Rayge Rayge disappears from the internet...BUT...Jet fan is still prominent on all the Gangrene sites asking "where'd did it all go so wrong?"..

I feel like I am living a nightmare

On Sunday morning, all we needed was a new OC, OL and fill-in some positions
and we are ready to go next season.

And in a span of 48 hours it all came crashing down and we are
in pieces on the ground and the whole country is laughing at us.

Our QB sucks?
Our lockerroom is a joke?
Third-string QB airing our dirty laundry?
Bart Scott giving the media the finger?
Players expressing dissapointment?

I still cant beleive all that is going on -

I'll be honest my friends after 40+ years I dont know if
I can take us being a joke anymore.

I wish I could go to sleep now and wake up in August
and see us get back to the team I was so proud of the
first 2 years Rex was here....

If there is such a thing as a die-hard Jet fan therapist
please send me thier number

I wonder....a die hard Jet therapist???...that guy could make billions, no????

a day later the NY fan boards melt down...

In other jet news, the calliope music continues even though the circus was supposed to leave town. You might have thought the jets would have the good sense to go underground after their elimination, at least for a little while. But no. They're still awash in the messy aftermath of The Big Fail. A 7th round draft pick rookie QB who spent the season on IR condemns the whole clubhouse. Big mouth jerk Bart Scott acts like, well, a big mouth jerk. Fat Rex, now channeling Zippy the Pinhead, vocalizes (unedited) whatever ill-formed thought is currently meandering through his foot powder addled brain. All this, while we anxiously await the farewell presser from erstwhile jet Tomlinson, the Miss Manners of professional football. And while the team seems to have finally muzzled that well lubricated loose cannon Broadway Joe, now mild mannered former jet QB Boomer Esiason goes off on current jet QB (Marky) Mark Sanchez. (Even the normally affable Esiason wandered off the reservation by comparing Marky Mark to - oops - a Chihuahua.) The inescapable conclusion is that the jets are carriers of a particularly virulent strain of stupidity that saps the common sense, intelligence and human decency from everyone who comes in contact with them. (Please let me know if I got carried away here. It may well be that just thinking about the jets in the time it took to write this has infected me.)

The inescapable conclusion is that the jets are carriers of a particularly virulent strain of stupidity that saps the common sense, intelligence and human decency from everyone who comes in contact with them.

Nobel Prize winner????

well, thats just being a stupid homer. god bless.

Stupid Homer!?

If Sanchez starts at NE this year, I really hope the crowd starts chanting "Butt Fumble!"

well, thats just being a stupid homer. god bless.

To the contrary, my friend: Joker is a BRILLIANT homer. :rocker: And in case you've missed the point of this thread, the New Jersey Green Beans represent the antithesis of the New England Patriots in all ways. They are the morally/ethically bankrupt dregs of American sports society -- the very definition of suckage incarnate.

Joe,

Nothing else you add to this thread of suckage can possibly be more esoteric, learned or intelligible.:rocker:

The JEST suck so hard they wore their NY Titans throwbacks when the Titans were wearing the Oilers throwbacks so no matter what happened the Titans won that game.

The JEST suck so hard that Linda Lovelace called them for pointers.

The JEST suck so hard that physicists have reevaluated the mass of the moon and found that it shouldn't remain in its present orbit... it's just the JEST sucking that keeps it there.

The JEST suck so hard they make Oasis, klezmer, polka, Justin Bieber, Rent, and the non-canonical Dune books written by the guys who invented the Transformers seem non-sucky by comparison.

The JEST suck harder than just about any force in the known universe, other than their fans. Okay, and super-massive black holes. But I strongly suspect there's a JEST fan at the center of each of those, attempting to warp time so it's January 1969 forever.

JEST fan dies, and sees the brilliant white light, then bit by bit starts to see black type appear against the white background... he vaguely recognizes that it's newsprint, and the biggest type reads "JETS WIN SUPER BOWL!!!"

JEST fan smiles and says "I've gone to heaven." Then he hears diabolical laughter as the second most prominent headline comes into view... "Preparations Complete for Nixon Inaugural"

Mark Sanchez threw three interceptions in a single practice session during last week's organized team activities, which caused coach Rex Ryan publicly to express disappointment public. New York Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg saw things differently.

Sanchez's "completion percentage and accuracy percentage have been sky high up to date" Mornhinweg told ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini last week. Yes, those comments were made on the same day as Sanchez's pick-fest.

So either the JEST are clueless at evaluating QBs, or they wasted a second round pick on Smith. Sounds about right to me.

Mark Sanchez's accuracy is 'sky high,' N.Y. Jets OC says - NFL.com

Come to think of it, as one of the car commercials say, "I prefer and."

Oasis & Rent were good. (well, 'cept for that h mo with the glasses & scarf.)

But he comes complete with a built-in nick-name... G-NOOOOOOOO!
