Does this mean I'll have to remember their names?

Nope, just keeping paying your taxes, and the Welfare Department will ensure the Cromartinis are taken care of after he can no longer play football, will have spent all of his money, and have the earning power of someone who can remember to say 'do you want fries with that' a few times out of every 11.

On top of that, to add salt to the wound, 500 years from now there will be far more of his genes contributing ( or detracting) to the earths future than the rest of us. Think of the long term global implications.

That's why the Mayans ended their calendar in 2012.

There will be new words and items that will come into existence:

Cromartisism: The act of repeating one's mistakes numerous times
Cromartifobia: The fear of bill collectors
Cromartitonia: A fear of getting out of bed
Cromatylactics: A new line of pre-perforated condoms
Cromartinosanta: An inability to shop for Christmas presents
The Cromarticut: The art of cutting a pizza into 42 slices

Fun for Sanchize fans....

“There were turnovers that were not his fault that were credited to him,” Cavanaugh told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. “But there were enough that playing that position he needs to cut some of those down. Most of them came from just poor decision-making.

How long until Jets fans like Ray Ray try to spin this so as to take the blame off of Sanchez and put it on the former O.C. and the offensive line? After all, with an unlimited ceiling, the blame can't go on the dirty one.

Edit: Ok, I took a look at Jets boards. It took all the way until post #4 on JetsInsider for the O-line to get thrown under the bus:

...Lets hope the oline can keep his uniform a little cleaner this year so he can make make smarter decisions...

http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4467288&postcount=4

The O.C. gets until post #5, although his meeting with the bus tires over running too complex an offense is a bit more subtly played:

I think (or hope) that the simplified reads in Sparano's offense will eliminate many of the mistakes.

Of course, they blame Santonio Holmes too.

We are deliciously close to message board Nirvana...IF, and it's an if that is quite possible,...IF Sanchez is replaced by Tebow and the Jets go on to have a successful season. we WILL be treated to the greatest flipfloppin',backtrackin',throw 'em under the bus Ray Ray spin EVER...and believe me,his flip floppin' history is LEGENDARY.

think about this statement...just think...3 years going into a 4th and the FIFTH pick taken in the FIRST round, the "SANCHIZE!!!!" needs to have a dumbed down offense to entertain any notion of success....think about that....and they make it sound like this is a rational idea.

Who in their right mind drafts a QB at #5 and looks forward to the day years down the line when they will have to "dumb down the offense!!" so that player can perform adequately.MOST normal human beings would think..."after 3 years, this fourth year our QB should be ready for anything throughout the entire offensive playbook.."...not Jet fan though...oh no...Jet fan, as the past 43 years straight has so definitively proven, is the odd duck in the pond...the "do it azzbackwards" experts. Where they find so many of these near comatose yet conscious anthropoids/fans is a question only a think tank panel of doctoral candidates in anthropology can answer.

I remember watching Sanchez as a rookie starter, and watching him catch break after break when bad plays didn't hurt him for one reason or another. I remember watching Sanchez in his second season as fluke plays kept coming up to bail him out after he'd peed down his leg. In year 3, those plays didn't fall his way as often, and he got exposed. There's really nothing surprising about it.

To a Jets fan, though, year 3 is the fluke. The Colts and Bengals will sit their starters in the last two games of the season again next year, and the chokes of teams like Cleveland and the Cowboys are their birthright as a team. The same O.C. who got them to the AFCCG two years in a row was actually the problem, and not the QB who devolved into a turnover machine as the season went on.

And people sometimes wonder why I call the Jets fans the worst in the league.

Ironically the one thing that a lack of intelligence has never hindered in this world is the ability to procreate and the amount of it done.
I think the movie Idiocracy was a peek into a Cromartini heavy future.

Got 99 problems but a **** ain't one. It's 10. Gotcha.

Okay one more definition

Asked by reporters in the Jets’ locker room today whether there’s a quarterback competition, Sanchez said Tebow will prepare like the starter but will be the backup.

“I hope every backup quarterback wants the job of a starter,” Sanchez said. “That’s the way you have to prepare. Fortunately for Tim, he has the ability to do other things and that’s why he’s on board. He’s a backup quarterback first, and then he’ll do plenty of other stuff.”

Tebow, upon being asked for reaction to Li'l Marky's comment:

Yup, this will end well.

The Rats choosing to trade for Tebow reminds me of how you kill an ant colony by putting out a poison bait and letting them bring it back to kill the entire colony.

In this case, a shiny Tebow was left near the Rats' nest and they dragged in back inside.

Hilarity ensues.

Seems Sanchez is making good use of the word backup as if he's going to put Tebow in his place via the media. Sanchez should say it's going to be a great competition in camp and may the best player for the team get the job.

Somehow, I don't getthe feeling Sanchez isn't mentally prepared to play this season as he's already looking over his shoulder. This should be fun to watch as it unfolds **evilgrin**.

Compare Sanchez' remarks to those by Brady in MMQB today:

"I just met with coach Belichick this morning,'' Brady said. "I still feel like I'm in my first year trying to prove myself. There's no entitlement around coach Belichick. I've got to be the best guy for him to keep playing me. When I'm not, someone else will play.''
