The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

Compare Sanchez' remarks to those by Brady in MMQB today:

"I just met with coach Belichick this morning,'' Brady said. "I still feel like I'm in my first year trying to prove myself. There's no entitlement around coach Belichick. I've got to be the best guy for him to keep playing me. When I'm not, someone else will play.''

This, in a nutshell, is why Sanchez will always suck and Brady will be awesome until the day he's physically incapable of playing.

Yup, this will end well.

The Rats choosing to trade for Tebow reminds me of how you kill an ant colony by putting out a poison bait and letting them bring it back to kill the entire colony.

In this case, a shiny Tebow was left near the Rats' nest and they dragged in back inside.

Hilarity ensues.

And it continues...

Jets QB coach 'pleasantly surprised' by Tebow | National Football Post

Part of what's fun about this is the intensity and frequency of the religious commentary and argument. Add that to the already insane Jests fan banter and we have an inferno that none of us could have asked for.

I think it's time for several of us to register on the two Jests message boards and start some good ole religious recruitment and debate. Let's go mix it up there.

We really should have a pool on when Tebow takes over the starter roll.

Mark Sanchez News Conference

This is not a "Mark Sanchez News Conference," it's a "How Many Ways Can the Media Ask About Tim Tebow" news conference. All the early answers include the words, "it's been fun." About halfway through it turns into, "You'll have to ask Coach Sparano." That doesn't sound like Sanchez is having fun.

What a mess.

This is a great idea, like the birth pools that are done at work: guess the date, time, weight, etc.

For this it could be guess the game he first enters (regular season only), the quarter, the time on the clock. Everyone who plays pledges to send a dollar to the winner through paypal.

That's easy. The Colts game after the Jets start 1-4 :lol2:

The new OL coach fits right in:
“One of the things that excited me most about this job was Wayne Hunter,” he said. “The last thing that I would ever want to see happen is not have Wayne Hunter as the right tackle. He’s big. He’s athletic. He’s aggressive. He’s a smart guy. He practices at top speed. He practices physical. He pays attention to detail. Everything you give him to do on the field. He does it. He does it naturally. Wayne had some good plays last year and some bad plays. You show me a lineman in the league that didn’t.”

Read the article, because there's a ton more.

Top thread on jetsinsipid:Joe McKnight gains 15 lbs of muscle!.......with over 250 posts(lol).

...they truly are,the gift that keeps on giving

yeah...MickeyD muscles...what a pack of totally ignorant buffoons these Rat fans are

Per Sportscenter according to he who holds receivers for no flags Tebow is a born leader because his eating habits at lunch time are inspiring.

God this franchise sucks.

ESPN reports Revis says Tebow is a born leader....

Who gives a flying ****?

So...the green morons are trying to spin up a green tornado of positive options with this Sanchez/Tebow thing...so now they come up with both of them..playing QB on the field at the same time..anyway, here's one green mutt's brainstorm...

WRT 11 on 11, ummm, let's see. Sanchez split out wide, Tebow in the gun with a RB standing to his right. Tell me, if you are on the defense, are you going to put someone out there covering Sanchez ? I'm pretty sure you will, and if so, that still makes it 11 on 11. If you don't put someone out there, we'll just have Sanchez do an 8-10 yard route, catch the ball, then step out of bounds. After about the 3rd or 4th time, and after moving the ball 30 - 40 yards down field, maybe you might move someone out there

Just gotta love the absolute ignorance of the Jet "fan"...I mean, how CAN any Rat fan not know this has already been done...with HILARITY ENSUING....

Screw that. I'd put Wilfork out there and tell him to jam Sanchez back to New Jersey where he belongs. They'll never pull that crap again.

Well, of course they wouldn't—you can't exactly field a QB after he's been crushed flatter than a crêpe by Wilfork. . . .
