New year, same old preseason predictions of doom and gloom for the New England Patriots.

On Tuesday, Fox Sports 1 personality Colin Cowherd became the latest in a long line of media members over the years that have counted out the Patriots primarily because of their “lack of star power.”

“I can say this with full confidence. This is not a Super Bowl winning roster” Cowherd told his audience on “The Herd”.

Linebacker Kyle Van Noy noticed Cowherds take on Twitter and responded with some thinking and laughing emojis.

Bill Belichick’s Patriots, who seemingly are never short “bulletin board material” to begin with, will have their first opportunity to begin proving Cowherd wrong when camp opens up on Thursday.
