Re: Sexy Rexy Approaching Bills Status ..
I can see where you're going with that from a national perspective; the Bills, as well as the Broncos before that, and the Vikings many years ago were indeed made fun of for their continual "failure" of only being the second best team of that time. Frankly I never really understood that line of thinking when all but one other team did not advance that far, but that's a subject for another debate - people do indeed point their fingers at teams who lose a championship game as 'losers' but don't do the same for teams that don't get that far for whatever reason.
However, since they are in the same division and same conference I don't think we would have much of a leg to stand on as far as that laughing and finger-pointing goes, unless the Pats were to be the team that defeats them in the AFCCG.
Although a great accomplishment, so I'll give him some props .. but he has been part of the last 3 (consecutive) AFC championship games .. 2 as a HC, and one as the DC of the Ravens .. Obviously all 3 losses ... Yes, Im hating ... One more loss, and it's Buffalo Bills status ... :bricks:
EDIT: Im sure 99.98% of the posters will know what type of comparison I am making .... But if your not sure ... Yes, the Bills won their AFCCG's, but lost 4 Superbowls ... Wow
