Asking for your support

How many TEs do you expect on the 53? [A PUP'd GRONK doesn't count.]

  • Total voters
    29
  • Poll closed .
My problem is that Reiss is thinking GRONK + 2 is a plausible scenario in Week 1, which doesn't seem at all likely to me.

I agree, that makes no sense.

Injuries are an unfortunate reality in the NFL, and you are one play away from having only one tight end at your disposal.

Bare minimum is three tight ends (plus Gronk) to start the season.

However big he is, Blount is most definitely not a fullback. I trust Vereen on 3rd and 1 more than I trust Blount. Probably goes without saying that I'd also rather see Ridley or Bolden get it over Blount.

For whatever reason, Blount is a 250 pound RB who happens to have the skill-set of a 210 pound RB.

I believe the person I was responding to, was asking what "big" guy is going to pretend to be a FB. Hooman is no more a FB than Blount, in the traditional sense. I havent seen much blocking out of Blount, but I'd give him a shot at a FB role, sooner than another TE.

We could solve this problem very quickly. Cut Tebow, keep 4TEs, and everyone will be happy :D
