Haha, yes he did. Look, obviously Belichick is going to have a preference in terms of who the team faces.
He isn't going to throw a game because he is afraid of who he might play. It's not even debatable.

You're using words like "afraid" in sort of a bizarre way. It's not a matter of being afraid, it's a matter of Belichick being smart enough to know who the Patriots would be better off facing.

And of course it's debatable, we're debating it.

If the pats face the steelers, can be jokingly bring out nerf balls at the start?

Yet our own fans want us to cheat to lose in fear of who the 6 seed may be.

I agree it's a dumb idea that isn't going to happen, but intentionally losing isn't cheating.

No. in order to compell your team to lose on purpose you have to be afraid of the opponent.
We are talking about throwing a game. It's not something to take lightly.
Anything can be debated even if the argument is indefensible if someone wants to take that side.
I could debate the moon is made of green cheese and I would have as debatable an argument as the one that says BB will cheat to lose because he fears an opponent.

No, you're wrong.

so belichick lost in purpose by scoring TDs on the last 2 drives including a 2 minute drill?
It's not an opinion it's a fact.

Obviously you know you can't hold up an argument so resort to name calling. A true sign of weakness, as expected from someone who would think throwing a game is what someone who plays competitive sports would do since you clearly never played competitive sports yourself.
You started the name called, and you do not understand NFL playoff seeding.

The Patriots OL is starting to trot out championship level performances, James White, suddenly, has become a panther, Dion Lewis is working back with cameo performances, Blount is steamrolling through defenses, Malcolm Mitchell is looking more and more like a home run, Chris Hogan can blow the top off a D, Bennett will admirably fill in for Gronk, and the D, well, despite some up and down performances, is restricting scoring. If they stay healthy, the Pats should feel confident. Oh, and it also helps they have the greatest HC-QB combo ever.

I did not name call.
What you are talking about is fixing games not playoff seeding.

Y'know...I've been calling James White, "Whitey" and I havent felt right about it.

"The Panther" is very fitting.

They are laughing at the thought that the Patriots fear anyone.

They saw what anyone else with eyes saw last night.

That reminds me of something that has always stood out to me watching Brady; his eyes.

Now I have never been in the position of rooting against him so I don't get to experience it from the other side, and there have been other great champions in other sports who may have had that trait, but it seems to me it has to be very intimidating watching him walk to the line as he surveys the field. His eyes are intense, intelligent, and controlled. There is no fear in them, and the size of the moment doesn't seem to faze him, he lives for these moments, and that has to be unnerving being on the other side.

I was very young so my memory may be faulty, but the only other athlete that I can remember having this kind of effect on the opposition was Bob Gibson of the St Louis Cardinals, certainly when it came to the Red Sox trying to win a world series against him.
