Montana's teams where stacked. He might have had the greatest nfl player ever in rice. Brady"s throwing to guys from monmouth college and a QB turned wr lol. The one time he had a legit wr he went bananas lol. 2008 would have been a ridiculous year had he not gotten hurt.

2008 is bitter sweet year. i really do believe 2008 was the reason why brady is still playing now. it fueled his fire. i think him not being able to play football really ate him.

but if he played in 2008, that would've been the vengeance tour. IMO, we would've been a clear cut SB favorite. we were loaded and our schedule was easy as hell.

he says things like 'brady is a good QB, but pats make him look better than what he is'.

It's not hard to diss the 49ers like he's dissing the Pats. Just change the team names in the arguments he gives above.

SF had a very good run. Aside from salary cap, the thing to note between these dynasties, is occasionally the 49ers just fell apart, but really can't think of a bad year for the Pats. Pats are more physical - 49ers were finesse, but if out of rhythm could get beat bad.

I remember an ancient article that up until 2006, the Pats were a very efficient, boring, beign team. Just not that hated. Kind of like Toyota - very good, but not sexy. SpyGate drastically changed the PR image. I'd go so far as to say DeflateGate was a much bigger deal only because of people not over SpyGate...helped to promote conspiracy theories that systematic cheating has gone on for many years. My obvious question is how all that cheating could be concealed, and hundreds of players, dozens of assistant coaches be mum?

this is how haters see it. nobody doubts brady's greatness. he is the greatest. but people are so damn tired of us. they are depressed. football isn't 'fun' anymore. all because of us.

maybe some of you embraces being the heel, but i want us to be liked. i don't remember the world hating on chicago bulls... they were in awe of MJ's greatness. i don't remember our celtics being hated so much back in 80's.

No offense, and I mean that, but if you're not used to it by now, you'll never be. I'll never like it, but I resigned myself long ago to the fact that it's never going to change. Spending time and energy getting pissed off and reacting to every idiot's attempt to troll us accomplishes two things: 1) it provides the trolls with exactly what they were seeking in the first place, and 2) is exhausting, frustrating and detracts from what should be the excitement and enjoyment of being in the Super Bowl.

Idk. I think people think the pats are an arrogant franchise. It's a joke. They think brady's arrogant. Nobody like's a consistent winner. I am sick of it. Maybe in the future people will appreciate what this franchise has done during the brady era. I just hope it goes out with a bang!!!

Agreed. "There was nothing else on" is not an excuse to watch it (like someone else said, we live in the age of Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu). And even if it was, running online and crying about what you heard just compounds the problem.
