On ESPNews.

This is good. The fraud needs to be exposed.

A lot of BAD calls!!!!!

You have a link? I'm curious, I hate the NFL refs right now.

It was on ESPNews (TV).

The overturn of the Polamalu interception was even worse than the interference call against Assante Samuel. How could anyone watching those plays make the calls that were ultimately made.

The Polamalu call was even worse, because the ref had the benefit of replay which clearly showed possession by Polamalu and he overturned the call on the field. Was there anything conclusive there that showe Polamalu not having posession and control.

Is there anyone even Broncos fans that can say that Lelie wasn't the one who was pushing Samuel.

There should be an investigation and some firings, and maybe it's time to make interference calls reveiwable.

One thing I've been saying for a LONG time is that refs need to be more accountable. This certain things aren't reviewable stuff has got to go, we're seeing more proof every day. The refs can't handle that kind of power.

I don't even know if I want review anymore if they are going to make calls that make no sense even to a ******ed 3-year-old.

I'm more interested in a good explanation of that reversal. Polamalu caught the ball (as stated by the ref), landed, and rolled over on his back - stop the play here and it's a clear cut catch and interception (as if a defender touched him down).

So it's mind-boggling to say that taking it one step (or move) further and getting up off of the ground can make it any less of a "catch".

Bad calls are a part of every game...but this one in particular just tests logic.

Jeff Triplette NEEDS to be fired from his asinine splooge job that he did in Denver.

Inept jackhole.

What'd the guy say on espn?

I second that. Please let us know which plays Salisbury complained about in the Denver game. To me there were at least 3 egregious calls, and that's not including the non-call on the false-start when Elam hit the FG at halftime.

ya

I 3rd that! Can we please know what he said? I bet the NFL is kicking themselves right now though becuase they did all they could to keep NE out of Indy and then did all they could to hand the game to the dolts and still they couldn't work it out!

I am glad I am not the only one who was disgusted by the officiating during the Denver game. Between the blown calls and the non-calls, the referrees guaranteed that Denver would win even though their offense wasn't able to do much of anything against the Patriots unless they got the ball inside the Patriots 30.

Bad Calls:
1) Pass Interference on Asante Samuel
2) The Bailey Fumble

Non-Calls
1) The false start on Denver
2) The holding by the Denver Linemen. Particularly when they held Ty Warren on the Rod Smith TD to end the game.
3) How about the illegal hit by "JUICER" Todd Sauerbrun to knock the ball from Hobbs. I could have SWORN that leading with your helmet was considered SPEARING and was a 15 yard penalty.

the worst non-call of all - the 3 denver secondary guys smacking Andre Davis, allowing the 3th to pick off the long pass at the end.

Don't forget the mugging Bailey gave Davis earlier in the game, on the first long Brady completion. Bailey cleared grabbed Davis's face mask, and when on the ground pulled the helmet up, as if to rip it off. No call.

The refs pissed that delay of game on the Bears as well that resulted in a Grossman interception.

The refs were crappy all the way around this weekend.

re:

Not the mention the reversal of Polamalu's interception in the Steelers-Colts game!!

yes, the officatting this weekend was the worst i have ever seen in the NFL playoffs for a weekend. every year it seems there are calls that are very bad in the playoffs, something needs to be done. and when you cant get the call right after replay. thats very bad. remember a few years ago when cower challenged a call and the ref said he didnt know if it was reviewable and had to look it up? embrassing.

Agreed on all counts....

Its one thing to blow a call, but then to have solid evidence it was wrong and not over turn it is inexcusable.

"the safety catches the ball....there's one knee to the ground...there's the other...the safety is down...he rolls over with the ball in his hands firmly...seconds have now elapsed....he gets to his feet and drops the ball....he picks it up...he is touched ...the play is dead....and NOW the head refereee is reviewing the play and waving it off!!!!....he is saying "no catch"....WTF game is HE watching?....on what planet???...in what quadrant of the galaxy?...in what parallel universe?..."

Worst call by a ref since the Ben Dreith robbery in Oakland
