Ryan Clark doesn't think Tom Brady can reverse the "cheaters" reputation the Patriots have acquired

People are always going to call the Patriots cheaters. That's just the way it is. Those of you who want to keep crying about it, the man to take it up with is the owner of the Patriots.

He's the guy who didn't stand up in either Spygate or Deflategate.

The rest of us will just count the number of playoff seasons, AFCCGs and SBs, and Lombardis.

Yep, that's just it. We'll never be appreciated outside New England all that much, but I'm done giving a **** about that. We've got a team culture and history of excellence. I get everything I need out of my football experience by simply taking in everything New England; from the games, to the Pats HOF and other Pats greats, to the great fans who take any chance to give everyone else the finger.

Openly admit I used to get furious at all the haters, as I felt personally cheated of the joy I felt would follow from the general public, when we started winning in a era with a salary cap, and all the new restrictions.

Now, the comments dont even phase me. If Deion, or Mike Irvin, Or Mike Reiss. or a very small handful of legit NFL pundits ragged on the Pats I would be shocked. Otherwise. it truly is a sign of respect, that people feel so helpless to see the Pats Just Keep Winning, that it makes them nuts. Enjoy it, it truly is a compliment.

Funny how all the haters in the media that never want to give the Patriots any credit and who are the ones that make huge mountains out of anthills were almost all to a man, ex-NFL players that played with teams that were serious rivals/defeated opponents of the Patriots or Brady.

And how the pundits in the media that give the Patriots their due aren't.

Man, I wish Clark had been drafted by/signed with/was traded to Denver.

Ryan Clark's very own NFL Head Coach:

".....We didn’t lose the game because of any 'Spygate,' because of them having any additional things,” Cowher told 93.7 The Fan on Wednesday. “[If] they’re guilty of anything they’re guilty of arrogance because they were told not to do something but it was something everybody does......"

....... “Stealing someone’s signals was a part of the game and everybody attempted to do that. We had people that always tried to steal signals,” said Cowher,"

Cowher dismisses impact of 'Spygate'

When is the point the public is going to ask why the "cheating" continues two years and counting after DeflateGate? Goodell should be fired if Pats win like this, right?

Then some of the public is going to come to terms with reality.

By linking to that piece of ****, you are giving them exactly what they want.

Next time you are tempted to read or watch anything on BSPN, don't.

Next time you see someone say something stupid, click away and remember to never give that ******* another click.

And I don't think Ryan Clark can reverse the "mentally ******ed" reputation he has acquired.

It all comes from stuttering mouthbreathers on the internet, clickbait "journalists" and whiny fans & players who witnessed their teams get demolished by Brady & Belichick.

a couple of quick thoughts.

1. I think given the chance Kraft would do things differently both with spygate and deflategate. You can see the different attitude in his post game remarks. HOWEVER the league is set up in a way that severely limits how vocal you can be in your outrage. At least now we can see that he gets it and making public his outrage, WITHIN the limits that constrain him. I mean what do you want him to do, he has already publicly admitted he f*cked up deflategate.

2. I think we aren't going to see the cheating suddenly disappear, but we will see it erode quite a bit. I am seeing the media and "experts" FINALLY talking about the real reasons why the Pats have maintained such excellence. The hard work, preparation, better coaching, and unselfishness of the players, etc are now being reported on a regular basis to the national audience.

I accidently turned on 1st take when they were talking about the Pats Steeler game and they had on one of their former players who was a former Steeler (I forget who) on, but when they asked him about why the Pats dominate the Steelers, his response could have come from Matthew Slater or Devin McCourty. It was pure Patriots porn. The Pats prepare better, execute better, etc , etc. I have never heard that articulated so well to a national audience, but I'm hearing it more often recently in some of the podcasts I listen to.

I think in the past the national audience bought into the idea that being that good for so long wasn't natural, so when the Pats were accused of cheating it was easy to buy into it. Now FINALLY they are being exposed more often to the real reasons. The things WE have known for years. So with that understanding accusations of cheating start to sound more like whining than the truth.

I actually agree with him, although for different reasons. We will always be perceived as cheaters in a significant portion of the public. In my opinion, you will enjoy following this team more if you just accept that and ignore it. If they get in your head, then they win.

You can make it your mission to try to convince them otherwise, one internet argument at a time, but that takes a lot of energy. Better to know for ourselves that we win not because we cheat, but because we are great, and enjoy this run while it lasts. Those people can go F*** themselves.

As an aside, Brady is really good about not showing that any of this talk bothers him. If he were up there ranting all the time about how he got screwed, I don't think it would be as satisfying as what he's doing, which is simply being classy and graceful, and saying how he's put it behind him. It also creates fewer distractions for him and the team that way. He knows the best answer and revenge is just to win and be able to look at Goodell and smile as he accepts the trophy.

Don't worry , they are going down the drain financially.

Kraft has talked tough, and acted soft, the entire way. Nothing has changed. He has repeatedly voted with his wallet, and sung a siren song for the fan base. He knows most people are suckers enough to buy the fake remorse.

Media and experts have done that from day one. Media and experts dismissed spygate as wildly overblown, and something that pretty much every team did, in one form or another.

It doesn't matter, because the cries of "Cheaters!" aren't actually about people honestly thinking thinking the Patriots cheated. They are about jealousy, losers exhibiting poor sportsmanship and ratings grabs. Whether or not cheating actually happened is largely irrelevant.

You should here mike fatcesa today in new york. Calling brady whiny whenever he get's hit. The sour grapes and jealousy always comes out when the patriots do big things lol.

I feel brady will want this superbowl more than the others simply because of what he has gone through. Hope they can finish the job in two weeks.

And the Steelers will never erase the fact that they are Brady's b**ch. So there, Ryan Clark.
