Congrats. But for the love of god don’t go hanging any banners up for that accomplishment.
Tomlin‘s claim to fame was having the luxury of being the defensive line Coach for the Minnesota Vikings that had absolute studs up front with Kevin and Pat Williams. Other than that, he’s not known for anything.
Isn’t it funny how the media fails to point out that the only time the Steelers went to those two Super Bowl’s was when Brady was out for year and the Patriots didn’t make the playoffs in 2008 and were eliminated in 2010? I think had Cassel and the Patriots had a rematch against the Steelers in 2008, I think the Patriots would’ve beat them.
Ever since 2010, the Steelers have either gotten their a** kicked by the Patriots in the playoffs or found a way to lose to an inferior team.
The Browns have enough talent to take over that division.
Much worse than any of that. Mike Tomlin trips people during games. But, it was a day game
Don’t need em all, shuster and brown.
Totally missed that. Nice!
Not a banner, but if there were an efficient, trite way to express it, it would be worth a sweatshirt for the next game at Heinz.
The 2008 team struggled mightily against good teams. Heck, they couldn't even beat the 2008 Tony Sparono-led Miami Dolphins. The Cardinals were so close to beating Pittsburgh in the SB that year. If Warner doesn't throw that game changing pick at the end of the first half or Larry Fitzgerald falls on the 1 yard line....
Not surprised, when you have the "eraser" ridding rapistburger of his crimes you must feel like you just can't get in trouble, and the GM of the squealers only reinforced that mindset.
What was in the tweet, it was deleted
Curran's tweet with the play in question. He deleted it for some reason and tweeted it again later so I just was about to update it as well:
We ain’t the Colts lol
And the Jags, for how bad they were last season, had them dead to rights and Pittsburgh needed some horrible, HORRIBLE calls to bail them out against a reeling team with zero offense.
He's a fat, dumb cat
Yeah, I hate that the Steelers and Colts had some SBs against comically bad opponents. We've never had that. Well, except for the 2nd Eagles SB but welp....
I'm still mad about 2006, ok?
Ben could have just said 'F you' to Hailey and taken a knee anyway.....
The 2018 Rams weren't comically bad going into the Super Bowl but their performance certainly was comically bad and Brady's performance was straight out of a Peyton Manning Super Bowl run, so I'd say 2018 is a good comparison. If a QB/team we didn't like won the Super Bowl last year in a game like that, we would absolutely be complaining about how "anyone could have beaten the Rams".
The 2017 Eagles were the inverse of that; they looked like a joke but played out of their minds and would have won no matter who the opponent.
Ben leadership has been in question since that Antonio Brown debacle.
I’ve never believed in this flabby loser. He needs to do what Rodgers did and get toned up with hanz and Franz
If this is true, and I'm 50/50 on it after watching that video and reading the dude's comments, then the bigger F you is to make Haley look bad by having something go wrong on the playcall.
You don't intentionally fumble as a power play you intentionally fumble so you can turn around and say "See, and that's why it was stupid to not be taking a knee there."
Who could of guessed hanz and franz were prophets? Row your boat down the loser stream
Separate names with a comma.
