Considering how he failed to remain healthy for a large amount of his career. And the number one reason the Packers can't win is due to a bad defense. Hope he enjoys his $100 million guaranteed and he protects his body in that process.
Brady gets 5 mil and has to earn them in incentives Rodgers gets 134 mil. Haha.
And, again, we see how much Brady helps BB by taking less than he could get if he actually wanted to bend the team over the barrel.
Yeah, I can’t believe he only gets to throw to one future Hall of Fame player this season. And despite this, they find a bunch of castoffs at the WR position for him without getting him premium talent
Brady has always understood that to be a good craftsman and produce good work you need good tools. And, again, we see how much Brady helps BB by taking less than he could get if he actually wanted to bend the team over the barrel.
Yep patriots playing cheap with Brady
The NFL season is a war of attrition and having good player depth is critical to success. With a contract like the one Rogers just signed, there won't be much of a middle class player on the Packers. A lack of depth as a result of that contract will doom them to mediocracy for the contracts duration.

Edit: And that encompases more than WRs, in fact, the whole team.
Maybe. I've been a fan for a while now (2014 QB2) so I'm not surprised at his success tbh.Yal are wild. I like JG. Like reaaally like JG. But we'll see how he does with a full season of film out on him.
This is so disingenuous it ignores that they are in the AFC championship or SB every year so that these guys can make these plays in those moments.Ahh, yes. The "depth" argument. That would hold more water if the so-called gold standard, the N.E. Patriots, didn't have depth issues on pretty much a yearly basis.
A QB like Brady taking a little less money allows for an extra signing or two, which might theoretically bolster depth at a position or two, or allow for a slightly better player or two to be signed. That can certainly be a help under the right circumstances, but it doesn't change everything ever, because you're still dealing with a need to field 22 starters + special teams players + backups.
Or, to put it another way, Brady taking a few bucks less isn't why the Patriots won in 2014 and 2016. They won because Brady is Brady, and because a UDFA made a huge play at just the right time.

No but there overall salary restraint/structure very much helps and Brady taking a few less bucks helps in a lot of ways. It's not disingenuous at all, and it ignores nothing. If you want to think that Brady taking a few bucks less is the reason the Patriots are in the AFCCG all the time, you're welcome to that delusion.
