Yea I'm getting a different sense than some in this thread on this.. some are speculating and spinning a controversy, but after Bill's response to media in a press conference about it I think they're just going to screw with other teams and the media until they feel he's ready

I actually think there was a wee-bit of a controversy.

The Patriots have a standing protocol on how the communication of injuries is conducted.

Someone went outside that protocol to communicate Gronk's status and it wasn't anyone under BB's sphere of influence.

The team and that someone reached an understanding on how to communicate Gronk's status which was represented in Gronk's video and the joint presser.
