game would be in 3 weeks, he'll be recovered by then. But even without him, yeah, it'd be tough.

Pitt's season ends @ Denver at the latest so they are really not that relevant to the Patriots right now.

Off the top of my head (and I can go to verify this later), I don't believe Brady exceeded 200 yards passing in that game either.

That is correct. 14-26 for 172 and a TD. They did however run the ball on them with some success....

Ravens defense has been playing well as of late, especially the pass rush (Suggs), and they have a running game and a legitimate deep threat with a QB that can scramble and throw on the run.

If anybody thinks the Patriots are a lock to beat the Ravens, they have not been paying attention.

I watched the game buddy, stop acting like I didn't, we got whopped.

Injuries are a part of the game.

First off you aren't part of the team, so don't say "we".

It was a one score game in the 4th quarter before Ridley got hit in the head and fumbled. I would hardly call that being " whooped" similar time of possesion, better yards per play. They just played better in the red zone which was a result of the Pats best pass defender being out and Gronk being out. Not an excuse, a fact.

But chicken littles gonna chicken little

This week will also be the Ravens first game against a playoff team in over 2 months. They are 1-4 against the AFC playoff field this year.

Nobody is saying the Patriots are a lock but the Patriots are unquestionably a better football team than the Ravens are this year, which was not the case the last three times they met in the playoffs. I expect the Pats to beat them if they make it to Foxboro. If they don't, it will be a massive disappointment and heads should roll.

No, the Patriots got their arse kicked by the Ravens, I was there and saw it live. It was an arse whoopin.

That game was just a stinker. The Ravens needed that game to stay alive and laid an egg. A great example of a team just not showing up and having everything go wrong. It happens to every team. Heck, it happened to the Jets in 2010 and they came back into Foxboro and ….

I hope the Patriots will win, I believe they are the better team, but the Ravens do things that give the Patriots fits. They are physical with the receivers, they rush the passer well, and they have a QB that can throw on the run.

Now, the Patriots defense is playing excellent football, we will see Jones playing at full strength, Revis is on the field, and both Collins and Hightower are playing at an exceptional level....On offense, the Gronk is full strength and the time off should help the OL...I hope.

We will see what happens, but it will be a dog fight, I would rather it be an arse kicking with the Patriots dominating...but, I know better than to think that is a likely outcome.

Clearly you're the one that hasn't been paying attention. Go look at who they've played far from impressive their 1 quality win was against Pitt back in week 2.

lol, this is the NFL, every win is a tough win. It is about how the Ravens match up against the Patriots. How well will Solder block Suggs?

I have watched too much football to write the Ravens off.

Don't know why you're so sure of that. Peyton has only avoided one & done in consecutive seasons once (2003 & 2004). Good chance Pittsburgh would beat them.

Denver's offense has been pretty terrible, I would not be shocked to see Pitt go in there and whoop them

The Jets are all the proof anyone needs that the ravens (or anyone for that matter) can put up a fight. Jets had only like two quality wins on the year vs us and the Steelers before coming to Foxboro again...

The OL to me is what will be the difference between a quick exit and a ring, and the Ravens will sure take advantage if they're not up to par. Can't say I'm comfortable with what we've seen up front but hopefully all that mixing and matching we've seen will yield a good result for the offense.

Their offense is good enough to beat the Broncos in Denver. Their defense - not so much. They don't really match up that well with the Broncos on that side of the ball.

Pats will stomp on ravens if they manage to make it out of wild card weekend

Every playoff game is a tough game. Period.

The "better" team isn't always, and over the course of the season, teams go up and down.

That said, in years past, I feared certain teams going into the playoffs, because even though the Pats were considered "better" in power rankings, etc, those other teams seemed to be peaking while we were licking serious wounds.

I didn't want to play the Ravens or the Broncos a couple of years ago because it was clear that we weren't the same team without Gronk and wouldn't match up well against the Ravens (and I didjn't want to go to Denver, period).

This year, the Pats are very healthy for the playoffs, and have been the best team in the AFC since the KC game. The second best team in the AFC is the Broncos, despite Manning's injuries/issues. That said, the Pats will be at home and they are built to beat the Broncos, with their great DBs.

I don't see any match-up hell for New England in the AFC. The Ravens have a good front seven (no better than the Jets, the Bills or even the Dolphins), but their overall defense isn't nearly as scary as in year's past, when you just knew that one of the legendary old players would step up and kick ass. the Ravens' offense is mediocre and shows little signs of suddenly tearing it up, as with two years ago.

The Steelers are a solid team, but their defense should not slow down the Pats in Foxboro, and again, their offense relies on a couple of skill players we can match up against.

Indy is probably the weakest team in the AFC playoffs, honestly, and now with Wayne down again. The don't match up well at all against New England, especially on a cold night in Foxboro.

Cinci is, well, Cinci. Can they win a big game when they need to? On the road?

Bottom line: you can lose to ANY playoff team, but if the Patriots play their game, they should win the two to get to the big SB. Toughest opponent would be Denver, then Pittsburgh, then Baltimore, then Cincinnati, then Indianapolis - and don't kid yourself, they could lose to ANY of those teams if they aren't playing up to par. That's why they play the games!

I'll take a shot that Pittsburgh beats Baltimore on Saturday and Cincinnati finally wins a playoff game on Sunday.

Pittsburgh gives Denver fits and avenges the Tebow game. New England handles Cinci. Then New England beats Pittsburh in a pretty good game.

Ok you win, BAL sucks and Brady will not struggle against them.

God damn you are so stuck on pretending the facts don't exist.

So that INT wasn't Brady throwing it up into the end zone with 4 secs left in a tie game it was just a great defensive play that fooled Brady?

But great job twisting my words to fit your combative chicken little agenda.

I heard on the radio this morning that the Ravens are 1-6 vs. teams with winning records this year. Their only win was against Pittsburgh when Pittsburgh was still crap earlier in the season (week 2). I still don't get why people are so afraid of the Ravens. They really haven't beaten anyone all year and are only in the playoffs because of a soft schedule.

Because the Radio said the same thing about the 2007 New York Giants…

It is the playoffs, every team should be feared.
