IDK, the Steelers crushed the Ravens at home this season 43-23 with Bell only rushing 20 yards on 10 carries in the game. In the other game, the Steelers won 26-6 with Bell only carrying the ball for 59 yards on 11 carries. I think the Steelers can beat the Ravens without Bell.
Actually the Ravens won the game in Baltimore very early in the season so they split the games. I do believe though that if Bell is anywhere near fully effective the Steelers will have no problem. That first game was a long time ago and Pittsburgh is the superior team right now.
If Bell is quite limited , you never know IMO as Bell is a huge reason for their turnaround.
Every time you guys get ****y the team struggles, Brady will get hit, throw a bone head INT, Flacco will have all day etc.
You guys keep calling me out but I have seen this ****iness before and I am done playing the homer who thinks we will win by 40.
So we scored 41 on BAL.
Last year we scored 30+ on DEN and only 16 in the playoffs
2010 45 on Jets, 21 in playoffs
2007 38 on Giants, 14 in playoffs
The 09 season we scored like 27 on BAL and then 13 in the playoffs.
Every time you guys get ****y the team struggles, Brady will get hit, throw a bone head INT, Flacco will have all day etc. I think we win but it will be a nightmare game like 23-20 down to a FG, blowouts in regular season games have NEVER translated for us these past years. Call it as you wish but they are in our heads, its a mental struggle the last 3 playoff games against BAL, we went 1-2 with one win being off a drop and missed kick.......but yeah lets pretend we win by 40!
Edit: Might I add 2 of Brady's 4 INTs 2010 against BAL
2007 we almost lost our undefeated season to BAL, it took a bailout TO and a great pass/catch.
So in Brady's two best seasons, two of the best ever, a BAL team that struggled to blah blah sure didn't struggle to us, when do we accept that? Same goes for Giants, I fear those two even at 6-10 over SEA and I am not very superstitious.
I was kinda shook up about the prospects of hosting Baltimore, but this thread has convinced me otherwise. One thing I do want to express though is that 41-7 game wasn't the cake walk you all make it out to be. If I remember correctly we got out to a 20-0 lead pretty quickly, then had a hard time moving the ball for a bit. They made it 20-7, then got a key stop and began driving again. For some reason, I think we picked off Flacco and that started an avalanche of points, but it wasn't the standard 41-7 thrashing you make it out to be. No chicken little syndrome, just my memory of that game.
Look, chump, you've called me a moron twice, a dumbass once and accused me of being a Jets fans. I'm not 12, and I attended the first Boston Patriots game ever in September of 1960. You started with this crap whining like a little girl whose dollie was stolen and in chasing the thief down you ended up with a skinned knee and a runny nose. You're pissing your pants in advance over the prospect of facing a #6 seed at home and your team is the #1 seed. Your team's most recent game against this reincarnation of the 85 Bears resulted in your team beating that powerhouse on their home field 41-7 when said powerhouse needed that game to make the playoffs. Quit your sniveling and whining and being scared. I love it when you chicken littles come out of Mommy's basement to try and scare everyone.
OMG enough. There are many fans here that agree with me. You disagree. Such is your right. I prefer not to face the Ravens. If that makes me a coward in your eyes then so be it. You are old and I respect my elders. I apologize for the insults. Calling anyone a Jets fan is out of line.
The Ravens worry me. That is all.
lmao .. for real .. I'm glad I moved out of Peabody, Ma where I grew up. I don't remember living in such fear when I lived there .. Don't know how you guys live over there ...We look like a really scared fanbase right now. First, that thread on the seahawks and now the ravens....
Eh. Peyton in January in Foxboro the way he's playing isn't all that scary either. As they say...scoreboard. Blown out 41-7 in their house in a must win game for them.
Not the same Ravens. Gimme a playoff game against these Ravens any day over dealing with Peyton Manning and his team again.
Anyway I say bring on Indi and Denver
To me Ravens are like the 2010 Jets. Bad feeling. But this thread has sort off convinced me that whomever it is, bring it.
In 2010 the pats were not healthy. Hernandez was not 100% healthy and that definitely affected the team against the jets...
That's right, it's totally about whether or not and by how much posters here are ****y!
