What happens if no offers for Godchaux?
He will be released, probably in June.

I'm also warming up to the idea of adding a true FS. Who's the FA from the dolphins name escapes me.. ??What do you mean "sneakily"?? Most everyone has been saying that the Pats need a CB2 and CB3. Someone opposite Gonzalez and someone for the Slot.
Jonathan Jones is gone unless they're putting him at FS where he can play with people in front of him. Otherwise, he was toast last year.
Marcus Jones can't stay healthy. As such, he's only a CB4/CB5. And I say that as someone who has been a fan of his since the Pats drafted him.
Alex Austin, Isaiah Bolden, and Marcus Dial good depth CBs.. Bolden's best position is probably FS. He played there and CB during his rookie year before that bad concussion he took. I'd like to see him back there again to see if he can handle it.
That will be the eventuality.
Javon Holland we should be heavily in on. I admit I overlooked him I think he's probably the top FA FS on the market.. we definitely should be in on him. FS has been a eye sore without devin.FS is a MAJOR NEED this off-season, Devin isn't coming back to save the bacon.
They need a field general back there that isn't only fast, but can diagnose the play.
There are a couple of field safeties available in the mid rounds this year.FS is a MAJOR NEED this off-season, Devin isn't coming back to save the bacon.

You lips to God's ears...Draft my boy Kevin Winston, Jr.
It makes no sense to waive Godchaux until at least mid-August. Someone might want him then and give us a 6th.He will be released, probably in June.
Doing him a solid, by letting him catch on with a team during free agency. It makes no sense to waive Godchaux until at least mid-August. Someone might want him then and give us a 6th.
I'm fine with giving him a chance now to find a trade, even for a 7th.Doing him a solid, by letting him catch on with a team during free agency.

I'm being totally honest in saying this.. Godchaux had done nothing of note in his time in NE. I never saw what the affliction BB had for him. I wish him well.. Milton Williams can have his locker! If you would like I can change it to after June 1st instead of in June. Either way he’s not in their plans and won’t be on the team next season.
From my understanding his agents and the organization both mutually agreed to fine a trade partner. Rosenhaus is the best in the business he'll find a team willing to give up a 7th. Pharms a depth rotational player may very well be a better player at this point than Godchaux and better fit in a one gap defense. If it takes until July 1st then so be it. But we all know he won't be here come opening day 2025.I'm fine with giving him a chance now to find a trade, even for a 7th.
However, if there isn't a trade now, the team won't eat all the guaranteed money for this year plus have next year's dead money int this year.
It would be much better to wait until at least July.
Perhaps it will be more likely that a team would want him (and that we might him.

Williams is reportedly a target for them. Williams is a big boy.. Jeffrey Simmons is smaller than Williams and he's a beast!Going by Tennessee’s lines under Vrabel Milton Williams is too light for them, it’s more likely they go for the big interior linemen.
