JUJU Sucked, he was damaged goods, like Bourne early last year.
Neither of these men were remotely healthy for top shelf performance.
WHO wanted JUJU over Meyers will be a mystery until someone states as FACT. We'll probably never know.
It was pretty obvious that Bourne wasn't 100% healthy, and NOONE HERE should have expected him to be.

I’m not even sold on Drake. We need to see more than his one throw and run per game before calling it a day. He played mostly bad teams, but could only beat one of them. He got blown out against a 4 win Jacksonville team and a 8 win Arizona team. In fact, he needed Brissett of all QB’s to get him his other win against a 5 win Jets team. I’m sorry, but that should be a major concern.

I fully expect Vrabel to be very aggressive in FA and give these players more confidence to come to NE than Mayo could. i think there’s a good chance NE will overpay to get Higgens here to provide something for Maye.

We had a Clown show Coaching Staff plus the Worse Offensive Tackles in NFL History: so that counts for something.

They were cheap last season and that got them 4 wins. Combine that with the fact that 2024 draft sucked with the exception of Maye.

The state of the Pats roster is not comparable to Houston or Washington.

The most important job has been filled at QB. Get rid of dead weight like Bourne and add to the OL and WRs through FA and draft. Fix the 31st NFL offense.

They had key pieces in place. We don't. Yes, clean house but you still have to have a roster. You can't do it in once season.

The point I keep stressing that many refuse to comprehend and will then sit dumbfounded at the end of 2025 is that the rebuild is not a one-year deal just because we have the most cap space. Like Vrabel said, the first goal is to feild a team who knows how to not lose games. We need to stop being losers like we were under Mayo. It will take time to get the right players into the right positions. Its not excuses. Its reality.
