Mapu seemed better than ever.

Roy looked very good as the backup to Godchaux. Godchaux had been extended. Roy being able to give Godchaux a series or two of rest will make Godchaux more valuable.

Takitaki should be back soon.

It seems that we did OK with Pettus and Hawkins in major roles. This is major plus for the future.

Now if we just had someone to start opposite Gonzo.
CB is major priority need for the off-season, especially given that Jon Jones and Marco Wilson are free agents.

Want to play better defense? Play less defense.

The Patriots offense ranks 30th in fewest first downs. The offensive line despite being ranked 22nd in pass attempts has allowed the second most sacks in the NFL.

Be better on offense, that's the best way to improve the defense.

Get better players.

Get a better defensive mind.

Yeah even without Barmore, Bentley, Judon, and our Safeties I think the biggest issue is getting hung out to dry drive after drive.

Current Patriot's rankings points per drive:

Points scored: 31st
Points allowed: 17th

The Patriots offensive line is worse than at any point it's been over the last three years.

The defense has taken some massive injury hits and still competes, despite our offenses inability to stay on the field for any length of time or score.

Roy looked good? We were dashed for 193 rushing yards.

Perry’s and Hawkins were good? We gave up 24 first downs and 372 yards to Tyler Huntley. Here a fun fact. Huntley had started 12 career games and that is the most first downs ever in a game he stated and he only had 1 game ever with more yards of offense, by 9.

We lost to the worst offense in the NFL.

That first line sums it up. When the other team runs 20+ more plays, you have little chance as a defense.

Too many 3 and outs kills a defense. Sunday was a good example of the defense getting worn down and being too tired to make plays at the end of the game.
