Jack Jones had character concerns at Arizona St. Cant say I’m shocked to see him suspended.

Who did you have in mind? There are plenty of people who fall in the middle and are willing to discuss both sides without going all or nothing and repeating the same talking points. The former is what we want. The latter really isn't.
That's the biggest emphasis I've made with a few people privately. It's O.K. to disagree. But provide enough context and thought in order to be able to have a real dialogue. You've got some people where one poster will take the time to provide insightful and interesting information to rebut an opinion, only for it to be responded to with a quick: "I disagree with you, he sucks." kind of answer.
That's a waste of time, and it badly detracts from the spirit of what this place is supposed to be.
Not going to lie, I'm tired of it. There are a lot of people who care and have been here a long time, and it's been getting progressively worse over the last year or two. Now that I've gotten a little more up to speed technically, I'm working on addressing it and have a pretty good solution coming.
I spent time looking through dozens of forums and other mediums to try and get a good sense of how to approach it. Given the discussions I've had with the mods, who also provided some good input, I feel like this should get us in a much better place. I know this is probably going to upset a few people when it goes live, but the overall community is what matters, and that's the real and true impetus behind all of this.
I don't have anyone specific in mind. I just know the number isn't going to be 0%.Who did you have in mind?

A loyalty oath would be a good way to rid the forum of the miscreants. That's how we got rid of the pinkos and the pedophiles in the 50's.There are plenty of people who fall in the middle and are willing to discuss both sides without going all or nothing and repeating the same talking points. JC's issues were more about him being somewhere before a crime happened, JJ was the actual perp. The issues for both JJ and Bailey were related to their rehab. Hopefully nothing serious long term.Forgot about Jones character issues. JC Jackson had the same and it seemed to work out. (at least while he was here)
Damn, hope he figures it out. He looked very good when he was out there.
I agree, I think the Bills have had such an emotional draining week, I believe or I hope that by the end of the first quarter the Bills will be spent. I think if the Pats can open up the game with one or two long drives they will be in good shape.I don't buy the "emotional tsunami" argument, that will exhaust itself quickly.
That's the problem with the forum as it currently exists. I expect the changes @Ian has planned will help. Too many internet trolls here who aren't fans of the Patriots, they are fans of winning. Some are just here to be pricks. I hope we get back to some constructive discussions.
Just please leave the Jets thread up.
